Chapter 5: Cafe date?

Peter POV:

Your going on a date with Y/N? asked Ned with excitement.

"It's not a date,"

"Well whatever you say where you planning to take her,"

"To the newest cafe that just opened,"

"Interesting..."

"What was that?"

"Nothing enjoy your date with Y/n"

"It's not a date!"

I been waiting until after school. Since I will be taking Y/n on a dat-
Wait no on a just friends date although I do wish it was a date or is it. The bell rang and I quickly packed my things and grabbed my backpack. I saw Y/n heading out of her classroom.

She smiles and waved at me. I went to her.

"So where are we going?" she asked me with a smile on her face.

"It's a surprise,"

"I love surprises but not being stuck in this crowd,"

"Yeah the hallways are always crowded in dismissal,"

We finally got out of the school through the crowd. We went into the newest cafe that is open in town. I let Y/n choose where to sit. I ordered coffee and Y/n ordered a latte. We didn't say much until a guy with a gun walked in and said to give him money. Spider-Man isn't here how am I going to show up as spider -Man. I can't just change in front of Y/n.

"Y/n I am going to go to the bathroom,"

"There's a robbery Peter and I wonder where's Spider-Man,"

I ran to the bathroom and changed into my Spider-Man suit. Question is how am I going to get out? I went on the ceiling and crawled on the ceiling and went on the cafe's roof. I entered the cafe.

"Hey robbing with a gun isn't the best way,"

"Like you know anything kid or spidey boy," says the guy who was holding a gun at me.

I webbed him to the wall and grabbed the gun away from him.

"Karen call the police,"

"Dialing 911,"

The cops arrived and arrested the dude. I looked at Y/n.

"Hey you seen lonely,"

"Well I was hanging out with Peter but he said he went to the bathroom but I been waiting for him for a while, do you think he ditched me?" Y/n asked with a frown on her face.

I totally forgot the CAFE DATE WITH Y/N.

"I don't know let me check,"

I quickly changed into my normal clothes I was wearing before. I went out of the bathroom.

"Hey Y/n sorry I took so long,"

"No worries," she said but she looked a bit mad at me. I wouldn't blame her I would be mad at me too if I were her. We both drank our drinks in silence without saying a word to each other. We went out of the cafe.

"Want me to walk you home?"

"No thank you," she says with an angrier tone to me. She speed walked away from me. I guess she is mad at me. But I can't just say 'Oh hey Y/n I am actually Spider-Man.' There's nothing I can do because I can't say oh I got bitten by a radio active spider and I turned into Spider-Man after that. What would she think me if I told her?

I pictured her with a disgusted look on her face and her throwing a slice of pizza on my face. I walked back home and went to my room without saying a word to Aunt May. First date with Y/n and it flopped because of me.
