I sat next to peter, so close that our legs were touching and I opened the laptop, sliding my glasses up my nose.

"okay, so when my dad was reviewing your suit, I asked him if there's was a way to mimic it with lines of code, so we worked for months on my suit." I said, showing him all the code and design that went into the project. "so it was based off of MY suit? that's so cool!" he said, looking at me and smiling. I felt my heart rate speed up, "uh, yeah!" I stuttered out.

the rest of the night was filled with peter and I laughing and talking, that is untill he had to get going.

dad, peter and I had all been sitting on the couch just chatting when there was a knock at the door, "I'll get it, hold tight" dad said, looking through the small hole in the door before opening it "hi may." he said, greeting her with a smile "c'mon kid! she's waiting." he said from the mudroom.

we both got up from the couch and just kind of looked at each other.

"hey..I'll see you at school tomorrow!" peter said, holding out his fist. I laughed and put my knuckles on top of his, "yeah, see ya wall crawler." he laughed and grabbed his jacket, throwing one final wave over his shoulder before greeting his aunt.

maybe he's not that bad.
