Season 2 Episode 1 ~ Soul Fairy

*This episode is based off that one scene in the Mugen Train Movie. Guess which scene it is!*

It was a time of change for us four. The cold winter had rolled by and welcomed the warm spring in its place. It was time for another season of adventures. Me, Adzuki, Tanjiro and Inosuke were outside in the front, enjoying the wonders of spring. We were waiting for Zenitsu to join us.

Me: *Weaving flowers together* Tanj, do you think Zenitsu will enjoy this flower crown I'm making for him?

Tanjiro: I'm sure he will, Nez. Do you think Adzuki's getting bigger?

Me: Well, of course she's getting bigger. She's a growing fox cub. Sure she won't be one forever, but still.

Suddenly, a sparrow flew down from above and joined us on the ground below.

Me: *Amazed* Awww, who's this adorable creature?

Tanjiro: Hmmm, I recognized you. His name is Chuntaro. He's suppose to be Zenitsu's animal buddy like Adzuki's yours.

Me: Oh, cool!

Suddenly, Adzuki started creeping up behind Chuntaro which worried me a bit. Then, she softly tapped on his back, catching his attention. When Chuntaro saw the little fox cub, he freaked out and started fluttering above the ground while Adzuki tried to catch him.

Me: *Grabs Adzuki* Adzuki, what are you doing? Tanjiro, why is Chuntaro afraid of Adzuki?

Tanjiro: Chuntaro have many predators and Adzuki's one of them. Foxes eat sparrows.

Me: Awwww! *Pets Chuntaro's head* Don't be afraid, Chuntaro. I won't let Adzuki eat you. *To Adzuki* Adzuki, you can't eat him!

Adzuki whimpered in disappointment as I put her back down on the ground. Then, Inosuke came over to join us.

Inosuke: Is everything okay, Gonpachiro?

Tanjiro: Yes, everything's fine. Chuntaro came back after the winter and he almost got sniped by Adzuki.

Me: But it's okay! Adzuki won't be trying to eat him again. But how come were only seeing Chuntaro now?

Tanjiro: Sparrows hide inside trees during cold seasons, but they don't hibernate. That's why he wasn't with Zenitsu during Christmas.

Inosuke: Speaking of Monitsu, what's taking him so long?

Me: Yeah, it's not like him.

Suddenly, the peace was disturbed by a familiar scream from the house. This also worried me because there was only one person in that house.

Me: (Worried) Oh no! Zenitsu, are you okay?

Tanjiro: Hold on, Zenitsu! *Stands up* We're coming!

Alas, we didn't have to come. Because Zenitsu came out the house as white as snow. What inside could've terrified him?

Me: *Goes to Zenitsu* Zenitsu, what's wrong?

Zenitsu: (Terrified) *Points* Look!

That's what we saw it. A little, bright creature had appeared from inside the house. It had no face and its head was fiery-looking. It looked like the sun. Was that the thing Zenitsu was afraid of?

Inosuke: What is that?

Zenitsu: (Scared) I don't know. I was about to come outside when it just appeared in the living room. It's looking for something.

Then, the little creature started walking towards us, freaking my poor friend out, but it ignored the two of us. Then it went past Inosuke and towards Tanjiro.
