We had a blast playing tag with Eri. I got a little bit lost in my memories most of them being with my past resentment towards Kanao but that was in the past. Now she's our friend and that was all that mattered now.
Me: I wanna bake some cookies tonight! Would you like that, Eri?
Eri: Mmm, yes please!
Kanao: I haven't seen any of your homemade cookies since the Christmas Party.
Eri: You had a Christmas Party?
Zenitsu: *Bends on knees and nods head* Yep. Kanao's sister Shinobu invited us. We played games, ate a lot of food. We even got to hear Tanjiro's and Nezuko's great singing.
Eri: *Gasps* *Eyes me* You can sing?
Me: *Blushes* Yeah, that's a bit of a hobby of mine.
Inosuke: Not only that, but she plays the guitar.
Eri: *In disbelief* And the guitar?
Tanjiro: Yep, and she's pretty good at it.
Eri: Wow! I didn't know you could sing and play the guitar, Miss Nezuko. Can I hear you?
Me: Of course you can. *Turns to Tanjiro* Tanj, can you get my guitar?
Tanjiro: Mmmhmm. *Turns towards the house*
Kanao: What song are you going to sing, Nezuko?
Inosuke: Can you sing the song you sung with Monjiro at the party?
Zenitsu: Of course not. It's way past Christmas.
Inosuke: What does that have to do with anything?
Zenitsu: You can't sing a Christmas song when Christmas season is over.
Inosuke: *Rolls eyes* You and your stupid preferences.
Zenitsu: It's not stupid.
Me: It's okay, you two. I already have a song for me to sing. You two don't have to fight about it.
Tanjiro: *Returns* Okay, Nez! *Hands me my guitar* Here you go!
Me: Thanks, Tanj! *To everyone* I'd appreciate it if you could all sit down in a circle before me.
My friends and Eri the child sat in a semi-circle in front of me. With a bright smile on my face, I held my butterfly guitar pick and prepared myself to sing.
