My wisteria flu went away quicker thanks to Shinobu's tonic. Now that everyone wasn't down with something, we could all head to the one part in the woods I so wanted them to see. I was leading Kanao and the guys through, excited to show them. At last, I could see it up ahead.
Me: (Excited) Here we are!
The thing in the forest I wanted to show them was a gazebo sitting in the middle of a pond. It had pretty pictures of mushrooms, woodland animals, fairies and all sorts of stuff. It was like something out of a fairy tale. The five of us walked inside the pond gazebo. It was even prettier on the inside than on the outside.
Tanjiro: This gazebo is beautiful and so is the pond, Nezuko. I can see why this is your favorite place.
Me: What can I say? *Smiles* I love fairy tales.
Zenitsu: Really? What are your favorites?
Me: I don't really know, Zenitsu! I love them all. Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, Three Little Pigs.
Inosuke: What are Fairy Tales? Are they some sort of group of books or something?
Kanao: Fairy Tales are these collection of stories about fantasy related stuff such as elves, fairies, talking animals, trolls, ogres, true love and etc.
Tanjiro: That's why Nez here likes them so much.
*We're just going to use everyday fairy tales because I don't know what Japanese fairy tales are like and I really want Nezuko to be obsessed with fairy tales lol*
Inosuke: *Thinking* Hmmm, Fairy Tales...Soul Fairy...Gonpachiro, do you think your fairy thingy shows up in one of the fairy tales?
Tanjiro: You mean Firefly? *Shakes head* I don't think so. I never heard of yokai talking about sun-shaped beings like him.
Zenitsu: I haven't read any Fairy Tales since I was younger. I remember my gramps use to read me some before bedtime to help soothe me. *Sighs* (Sadness) I miss him.
Me: (Compassionate) *Right hand on chest* Zenitsu, I'm so sorry.
Zenitsu: Oh, no, no, no, no! He's not dead. It's just that I haven't seen him since final selection.
Tanjiro: Do you write to him? I write to Urokodaki every week to tell him how Nezuko and I are doing. You could do the same thing with your grandfather.
Zenitsu: That's not a bad idea, Tanjiro.
Kanao: And if you really miss him, you should leave and visit him. I'm sure the master will let you leave.
Zenitsu: *Smiles* Thanks, Kanao!
The five of us continued to talk among each other. I turned my face away from the group to gaze out at the rest of the forest. I was shock to see a flashing blue light in the distance. What was that? Curious, I decided to alert the others.
Me: Did you guys see that?
Tanjiro: See what, Nezuko?
Me: There was a flash of light *points* over there.
Kanao: *Looks in the direction I was pointing in* I don't see anything.
Inosuke: *Looks in the direction I was pointing in*
Tanjiro: Do you see anything, Adzuki?
Adzuki: *Shakes her head*
Tanjiro: Are you sure you saw something, Nez?
Me: Yes, Tanj! I am.
Zenitsu: Well, I might have to agree on your brother on this, Nezzy~Chan but we can still go there just to make sure.
