MICHAEL'S P.O.V
"Really? You really did that?" said Amalia.
"I was three ok!" said Michael..
"That's no excuse! You ate a sponge!"
"Ok, ok I get it!" she smiled.
"Ok class! Let's get started!" said Justin. They all walked towards Justin and sat down.
"Ok, so the first less-" Justin's phone went off. He pulled it out and answered it.
"Hello?...... Why?...... Are you sure?.... Did she tell you that?....... I know you're not lying!..... Ok, I'll be right there... bye." he put the phone in his back pocket.
"Excuse me class, but I have to go take care of some business," He walked towards the door, "Class is dismissed for today!" he walked out. Amalia looked at Michael.
"I guess I have the afternoon off.." said Michael. Amalia smiled.
"You mean WE have the afternoon off..." Michael smiled. They got up and walked out the doors.
"So, where do you want to go?" asked Michael.
"I don't know.. Surprise me!" Michael smiled.
"Ok then follow me!" Michael grabbed Amalia's hand and ran down the hall. They turned the corner and came to large metal door.
"Whoa, what's behind that door?"
"Life.." Michael pulled out a card and walked over to a panel and scanned his card. the metal door slowly slid open. A gust of wind and light rushed in. Amalia closed her eyes and smiled.
"You ready?" Michael grabbed her hand. Amalia opened her eyes and looked down at their hands then back up at him. She smiled.
"Definitely!" They slowly walked out and the door closed behind them. They walked down a path and came to a hill. They stopped. Amalia looked at Michael.
"What is it?"
"Get on my back.."
"What? Why-"
"Just trust me.." Amalia smiled and got on his back.
"Now close your eyes.."
"Michael.."
"Trust me.." Amalia sighed and closed her eyes. Michael smiled and ran up the hill. Suddenly he came to a stop.
"Keep your eyes close!"
"I am, don't worry.." Michael slowly helped her off his back and stepped back.
"Now..open.." Amalia slowly opened her eyes to see a beautiful sunset.
"Wow.." the sun was setting, the sky was painted with an array of pink, orange and yellow, the clouds heavy with silver linings..
"Beautiful isn't it?" Michael walked up and sat at the top of the hill.
"Beautiful," Amalia walked and sat next to him, "Beautiful doesn't even began to describe it!"
"I know..." Michael took in a deep breath and exhaled.
"So, do you come up her often?" Michael looked at her and smiled.
"Everyday before lights out... I always used to watch the sunset with my mom..." he looked down. Amalia looked at him.
"It must be hard.. life without a mom," Michael looked at her, "I know the feeling..." Michael scooted closer to Amalia.
"You know what my mom always used to tell me?" Amalia looked at him.
