DAZYA'S P.O.V
Amalia climbed up onto the top bunk. I sat on the bottom bunk.
"What do you think they were talking about?" I asked.
"I don't know.." I looked up at Amalia.
"You know, it just makes me so mad! How can they just accuse our parents of being criminals!"
"Yep, well I'm a bit sleepy, I'm going to take a power nap, goodnight!" Amalia quickly pulled the covers over her head. I glared at her.
"Amalia, you know something.."
"No I don't!"
"Yes you do!," I climbed up to the top bunk and yanked off the sheets, "Tell me!"
"I don't know anything! I promise!"
"Amalia, don't mess with me now.." Amalia sighed and sat up into a sitting position.
"Are you sure you want to hear this?"
"Of course!"
"Ok, I knew.." I cocked an eyebrow.
"You knew what?"
"That dad and mom were connected.. with Stealth.."
"Wait wait wait wait... you knew?"
"Dazya, I wanted to tell you! Honest! But I just thought it would be best to-"
"NO!," I jumped from the top bunk to the ground, "YOU KNOW WHAT?!? YOU'RE STARTING TO SOUND A LOT LIKE GRAMPS RIGHT ABOUT NOW! YA KNOW, WHEN HE TRIED TO HIDE THE FACT THAT OUR PARENTS WERE DEAD!"
"Dazya, please-"
"NO! Everyone always says that they're trying to help me, that they "Thought it was best" NO! No one knows what's best for me! Because I'm my own person!" I ran out the door into Thomas.
"Dazya?" I looked up at him.
"You knew.."
"Dazya.."
"You killed them.."
"Dazya, listen," he grabbed me by my arms, "Don't say that, you know I wouldn't do that-"
"No I don't because I don't know YOU," I pulled away from his grip, "I hate you.." Thomas stumbled back as if he had been slapped. I ran down the hallway. Thomas watched me then looked down.
AMALIA'S P.O.V
"Don't worry Thomas," Amalia climbed down from the top bunk and walked over to him, "She didn't mean it-"
"It sure did sound like she meant it.." Thomas looked at Amalia,
"Thomas," Amalia put her hand on his shoulder, "It wasn't your fault.." Thomas looked at her.
"What have I done?"
"Lets talk..." Thomas nodded his head and they began to walk down the hallway.
"Well, it all started when I was 8 years old, my mom was just graduating from college and she decided to move to Hawaii-"
"Hawaii? Isn't that a bit far?"
"Hush, I'm trying to have a flashback!"
"Ok, sorry.."
"Ok, where was I? Oh yeah, so we moved to Hawaii in the middle of the January. The best weather I've ever seen in the winter! We moved right along the edge of the coastline, talk about a beautiful sight! I just loved it there! Long walks on the beach, surfing, swimming, a living paradise!"
