Hello guys! It's been a while. I published this book when I was still in 6th grade and now, I am finally in college! This book has been with me along the way, and I would also like it to tackle another chapter (type of writings) as I have already tackled mine (and am still in the process). If there are people here who have read all of my entries in this book, this next one, you'll notice a change and I do hope you will like it.
Enjoy.

"If Only"
A story where two hearts collide but chose to be apart.
Inspired by the song 'Only', by Lee Hi.
"On rainy nights or lonely daytimes, please color me with your shiny light. I'll do better when you promise me we'll stay together."
The story starts with a simple, sophisticated woman. Everyone sees her worth, except, she is the only one who does not notice how admirable and fetchy she is. Her whole life, she chooses to be the ideal eldest daughter and sibling of the family, it is one of her traits that she seems to somehow question but everyone admires about her, she is a very family-oriented woman. A characteristic that it is rare for a woman her age to acquire these days.
Until one of her most dreamt days came. She achieved one of her dreams, to be able to fly to one of her favorite countries, South Korea. But it is not the only thing that she looks forward to, she is also there to practice her taken program, medicine. This woman, all her life she imagined scenarios in her head, all may be in different places with different plots, but the similarity among them is that she is always with her only one. Questionable it may seem, but it is not. For someone who is hopelessly romantic and has never experienced love before (yes, some call it 'no boyfriend since birth' in her case) she already always puts in her mind her ideal man and how perfect the way they'll meet.
On a cold breezy night in Seoul, the woman entered a coffee shop just around the corner after wandering and checking off some go-tos and to-dos on her list. As she entered the warm ambiance of the place, she was greeted by the relaxing smell of coffee beans and the calming faint sound of jazz songs playing just right within the four walls of the cafe. People behind the counter greeted her and she gave the gesture back with her dimpled smile. As she said her order, she went and spotted a table with one chair just beside the glass wall of the cafe, revealing the tranquil streets of Seoul. Settling down, she made herself comfortable without looking around the room and went by scrolling through her phone. As she was looking through the updates on Twitter, her phone rang revealing her sister's contact name causing her to squeal and catch attention from the people. Quickly she bowed while saying sorry and answered the phone right.
Little did she know, the squeal of hers may have caught everyone's attention but one. Because this man's focus was already on her the moment she entered the cafe causing his head to turn as the door chimes rang. Immediately, this woman caught his most wantable interest. His piercing eyes are already on her and to his surprise, she made him nervous by just choosing the seat in front of him, facing his direction giving him the admiring view of her elegant yet intimidating appearance.
He was ready to risk it all.
The night went by with both of them enjoying their coffees while the man tried his very best to not get caught as he swiftly stole glances at her laughing self which made her eyes crinkle up and for her dimples to appear. Her smile surprisingly makes his heart melt.
As much as he tried to focus on the notebook and pen on his table, he could not seem to take away his eyes, yet his attention from her. Lots of words were racing in his head waiting to be written on his notebook as he tried to look for the best word to scribble down for their next song.
