Junior's pov:

I woke up to a call from Jake around 4 in the morning. I was worried because he never calls around this time,so of course I answered.
( bold is Jake and normal style is jr)

H-hello jr?
Hey Jake what's wrong? Wait are you crying right now? What happened?
m-m-my dad he b-beat me and I passed o-out, w-when I went d-downstairs, I-I went to lo-ok for him. *siffle* he's dead in the basement. P-please come over with Bree and Logan please I'm begging you
OMFG JAKE DONT WORRY STAY CALM WELL BE THERE IN 20 MINS BYE JAKE

I ran to my parents room and they freaked out. I dragged them out of bed by both thier arms,crying and yelling them what happened. My dad called the police of Hackensack, and the forensic force of Newtopia. Since H.S is a small kingdom, most people die of old age here. So it's rare when someone dies out of the blue if something that's not old age. My mom dragged me and grabbed two of her fuzzy coats and went inside our carriage, my mom drove it surprisingly, she drove it so fast I thought we would tip over. Thank god my mom drove fast because we got there in almost 10 minutes.

My mom jumped off the front and raced into the house, with me tripping my way out of the carriage, I saw my mom halfway up the stairs to Jake's room and I went after her. I saw her comforting Jake as he sobbed into her chest. I stood behind him, and I guess he saw my shadow, cuase he jumped into my arms and cried onto my shoulder. I hugged as tight as I could and whispered in his ear.
" Hey don't worry everything's gunna be ok. you'll stay with me and you can finally live your dream."
Jake wiped his tears and said tearfully,
" Yeah maybe your right Junior. I just feel bad, I know I didn't do anything but I feel like it was all my fault. Maybe if I was the son of his dreams, this wouldn't have happened. I mean let's be hones-".
" Jake. He was horrible he abused you and made you feel terrible. How can you defend him after everything he did to you?"
Then my mom spoke up.
" Jake? Sweetheart, what did your dad do to you baby?".
My mom said shocked as she put her hand on Jake's shoulder, and one caressing his face.
" Jake please tell us. He can't hurt you anymore if you tell. Please tell me what happened?"
Then Jake sobbed into her chest again and she sat him onto his bed. I sat behind Jake patting his back as he cried and told my mom what his dad would do to him. My mom cried halfway though this and just hugged him for the rest of it. Finally after 2 hours the Newtopia police came and asked what happened. Jake told them where his dad was and that he was probably drunk when he passed.

They tried to ask more but my mom pulled him away from the cops. We rode back to the palace where my dad was waiting, pacing back and forth,outside the castle. My mom and dad had me and Jake go up to my room while they talked to the police.
I took Jake's hand into mine and brought him to my room. He looked miserable and tired as fuck, so I gave him a towel and some pjs that were to small for me but fit Jake, probably because he was a little malnourished from not eating as much as he should. I told him he could take a warm bath and change into the pjs when he was done and sleep.

He smiled and thanked me as he walked away. I made sure he was 100% in the bathroom and had the door closed. Then I called Devon. ( Devon is underlined, Jr. is bold text)
"hello?", Devon said in a tired voice. "Hey Devon? I have some news that might change things."
"What are you talking about Jr.?" "Remember when I said you should date my cousin?"
"... yeah? why?"
"Remember when I told you that his dad was an abusive piece of crap?"
" I think you mentioned it once or twice" " Well he passed earlier tonight, and Jake's really upset obviously it's his dad, but he's relieved that he has peace and freedom, and soooo I was wondering if you could come over tomorrow, you could meet him and, oh I don't know, cheer him up with a smile and small talk?"
"Ok one, tell Jake I said sorry for his lost and that everything will get better, and as for tomorrow, as fun as that sounds, I'd have to ask my mom and it's late as hell I could ask tomorrow and see if I can"
"Yes! Ok ask her tomorrow just text me what she says, good night Devon!" "Ok good night Jr.!"
After I hung up, I knocked on the door and called for Jake. He wasn't answering and I got worried, I opened the door a bit, I walk in the bathroom slowly opening the shower curtain. I chuckled as I found Jake asleep in the shower, I turn off the shower, put a towel over his...area, trying to at least give some privacy, and shake him awake.
" Jake wake up, you fell asleep in the shower."
Jake opens his eyes and looks around, then looks at me.
" I did?" he says.
" Yeah,you did." I say while chuckling. He gets up from the shower and I give him the clothes, and I walk out of the restroom and walk towards my bed. I get the extra pillows and the warm blankets from my closet and lay in bed waiting for Jake. After about 20 minutes I see him the pjs and walking towards my bed. He climbs into bed, gets the covers, lays on his side(facing away from me), and just cry. When he started crying, I face towards his back and hug him from behind. I put one of my hands on his stomach and he holds it. I sit up in my bed and pull him into chest we're he just cries even more. Eventually he falls asleep on my chest and I end up playing with his curls,until I fall asleep.

hey...so ummm ik it's been a really long time since I've updated this, and I don't really have a reason why, only that I got more into reading stories, than actually writing my story. I can't promise I'll always update, but I will try to make the effort to update at least 2 chapters a month. okkkk byeeee
