"Last time on Total Drama Island. 23 campers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here at this crummy old summer camp, then have to face the judgment of their fellow campers."

"Surely it's not too bad, it's our first day," Trent exclaimed.

"I did not sign up for this," Gwen stated.

"Okay. Today's challenge is three-fold. Your first task is to jump off this 1,000-foot-high cliff into the lake." I took a quick peek down the edge of the cliff, swallowing the lump that formed in my throat. I pulled myself back, wrapping my arms around myself.

"Piece of cake." Bridgette spoke hesitantly, having her own glance at the bottom of the cliff. I shivered. In my [F/C] bikini, I definitely wasn't warm, especially with the cool air hitting my back.

"If you look down, you will see two target areas. The wider area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with psychotic, man-eating sharks. Inside that area is a safe zone. That's your target area, which, we're pretty sure is shark-free." The sound of gasps surrounded me, and my own mouth dropped open.

"Excuse me?" Leshawna stood beside me, her arms crossed in a determined stance. Chris ignored her, instead choosing to continue his instructions.

"For each member of your team that jumps and actually survives, there will be a crate of supplies waiting below. Inside each crate are supplies that you'll need for the second part of the challenge, which is building a hot tub. The team with the best one gets to have a wicked hot-tub party tonight. The losers will be sending someone home. Let's see, Killer Bass, you're up first." As the opposing team inspected the cliff, I turned to my own team.

"So, uh, who's gonna jump first for us?" I asked, and was met with a few wandering faces.

"Hey, don't sweat it, guys. I heard that these shows always make the interns do the stunt first to make sure it's survivable." Owen pitched in, his hands going to the shoulders of Lindsay and Cody.

"Hey, gorgeous." I turned my head in the direction of the voice, seeing Duncan standing at the edge of the cliff.

"See you on the other side." He smirked, and took a step back off the cliff. My eyes widened, and ran to check if he'd made it down safely. Seeing a flash of green emerge from under the water, I sighed in relief, before pondering on my own jump.

"Hey, [Y/N]? You don't have to jump if you don't want to. We won't hold it against you." Trent exclaimed , crouching next to me. Clearly, the fear on my face was quite visible.

"No, I'm part of the team. I don't want to let you guys down on the first day." Eventually, there were no remaining Bass members, and it was now the Gophers turn to jump.

"Okay guys, who's up first?" Trent stood, glancing at the rest of the team.

"I'm sorry, there's no way I'm doing this." Heather crossed her arms over her chest, and Lindsay mimicked her.

"If she's not doing it, neither am I." I stood, watching the commotion unfold.

"Oh, you're doing it!" Leshawna stood before Heather, her arms at her sides.

"Says who?" Heather remarked, a scowl crossing her face.

"Says me. I'm not losing this challenge 'cause you got your hair did, you spoiled little daddy's girl." The girl sneered, and I took a few steps.

"Guys-"

"Back off, ghetto-glamour, too-tight-pants-wearing, rap-star wannabe." Heather shot back at Leshawna, her cheeks flaring in anger.
