Last time on Total Drama Island...

The Screaming Gophers kicked butt in the Awake-a-thon when Duncan took a snooze on the can and the Killer Bass took their second loss in a row. Harsh. Heather orchestrated the first Total Drama Island alliance by convincing Lindsay and Beth to join forces with her. Then pocketed Eva's MP3 player and sat back to watch the fireworks. Nicely played, Heather. Nicely played. Even though Eva could've pretty much kicked anyone's butt here, in the end, it was her temper that got her kicked off. She became the second camper to rock the Boat of Losers. Who will break the rules of their new alliance? Will [Y/N] be able to stay awake until the end of the episode? And who will take the next humiliating walk down the Dock of Shame? Stay tuned for the most dramatic campfire ceremony yet on Total. Drama. Island!

I let out a muffled yawn, stretching my arms over my head as I made my way to the main lodge. I'd slept a few hours, but definitely not enough to completely satisfy my aching body. I rolled my shoulders, trying to loosen my stiff joints.

"[Y/N]! How are you holding up?" Courtney made her way beside me, and I shook my shoulders, giving the brunette a small smile.

"I've felt worse. How about you?" I asked, and the girl sighed.

"We had Harold snoring like a lawnmower the whole night. I could hear him the whole night." Her face dropped as she recalled the memory, and I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"If you need a break, the Gopher cabin is always open." I smiled, and the girl hinted pink.

"Thanks, [Y/N]. I should get to the bass, talk later?" She smiled, and I nodded, letting her go into the lodge. I followed after her, quickly slipping into the seat beside Cody.

"Oh, [Y/N]! Good job on the challenge!" He beamed, and I beamed at him.

"Seriously, how are you not dead yet?" Noah queried, and I shrugged my shoulders.

"I'm not even sure anymore. But hey, we've got another challenge to win!" I insisted, hearing a bang as the lodge door swung open. There stood the delinquent, looking as miserable as he had during the challenge. Sluggishly, he made his way over towards his table, slumping down. Chris smirked in satisfaction.

"Duncan. You look like crap, dude." The host chuckled, his smile not faltering.

"Stuff it." I heard Duncan mutter, as he rested his head on the table.

"Harold snored all night." Courtney piped in, glancing my way. I gave her a sympathetic smile. The Bass really needed a pick-me-up.

"Wow. Four nights with no sleep? How much are you hurting, dude?" Chris teased, and Duncan slowly looked up, sending the host a glare. If looks could kill, this would be the time.

"Wanna find out?!" The boy sneered, and the other male backed up slightly.

"No, no, it's cool. It's cool." Chris exclaimed, glancing over to the lodge door once again. Gasps were emitted into the room, and I could help but try to suppress my own laughter. There Harold stood, a small moustache drawn onto his face. Another yawn escaped my lips, and I saw the attention turn to me.

"Ah, [Y/N], the victor of yesterday's challenge. How are you holding up?" Chris asked, and I shook my head.

"I'm fine. Tired, but fine." I gave a blank smile, trying to suppress the other yawns threatening to escape.

"We are so sucking right now. Okay, yes, Eva was a psycho, but at least she was an athletic psycho! Honestly, I wish [Y/N] was on our team." Courtney blushed, before shaking her head. "She's a good team player, that's all!"
