The High Priestess, Part 1

The Red Sea. Divers all agree: it is the most beautiful sea in the world.

The east and west shores are both red deserts, which is why it's known as the Red Sea. There are no cities nearby to pollute it, nor rivers that flow into it. It is an unsullied sea.

Avdol's hand grabbed the steering wheel.

"Hey, can you drive this thing, Avdol?" Polnareff asked.

"Tsk, tsk. No problem." Avdol said wagging his finger.

"I can drive it, too!" Joseph said with a large grin, sticking his thumb at himself.

"You're not driving this thing. I'm not letting you crash us again." Jotaro said making Joseph's grin disappear.

"My grandson is so harsh." Joseph said as the three men stared at Jotaro.

"A submarine, huh... This is my first time in one, but it's not as cramped as I expected." Kakyoin said.

"Yeah. This is a vessel that the rich use to explode the seafloor for pleasure. As you see, it even has windows." Joseph said gesturing toward the window, making Polnareff rush past him and slam into the window.

"Whoa." Joseph yelped.

"Oooh! Nice!" Polnareff yelled.

"I've always kind of liked this sort of thing. And I'm glad I get to ride it with a cute girl..." Polnareff giggled glancing at Y/n.

"I see you haven't changed, Polnareff. We didn't come here to play." Avdol said.

"What's that?" Polnareff asked.

"It's a sonar. It uses reflected sound waves to detect things underwater, a bit like a radar." Joseph said.

"Wow..." Polnareff said in shock.

"All clear. I'm not picking anything in our vicinity." Avdol said.

"With this machine, we cant detect anyone trying to attack us, from any direction." Joseph said.

"But if we were to be attacked in here, we'd have nowhere to run, we'd be like trapped rats. Don't forget where we are, 60 meters below sea level." Jotaro said before a groan grabbed everyone's attention.

Y/n eyes scrunched up before opening, the bright light caused her to blink a couple of times.

"What the..." Y/n muttered before sitting up quickly and her eyes zeroed in on Avdol.

"So it wasn't a dream..." Y/n trailed off as she stood up and walked toward the others.

"It's nice to see you're awake Y/n." Joseph said making Y/n give him a small smile.

"Where are we?" Y/n asked.

"Underwater, in a submarine." Polnareff said.

"Really." Y/n said in shock.

"We are, take a look for yourself." Kakyoin said guiding Y/n toward the window.

"Wow! It's beautiful!" Y/n said in shock.

"I couldn't agree more." Kakyoin said smiling at Y/n.

It is amazing... But I guess it is a cruiser for the wealthy. It has a refrigerator, coffee maker... It's even equipped with the latest in satellite phones." Kakyoin said glancing around the submarine.

"Hey, Kakuoin, get me a drink while you're up, will ya? I'm dying of thirst here." Polnareff said.

"I'll take one, too." Avdol said as Joseph walked toward Kakyoin.
