Sucrose got home snuggled up in bed with Osiris, opening the book to the first page. After a while of reading the symptoms then getting into the effects of Hanahaki Disease. *knock-Knock* She heard a few knocks on the door before it was opened, she quickly hid the book underneath her bed knowing it was Albedo because that she wasn't better. Albedo was or would visit her everyday after work and bring her soup. Hiding the book because she had got to a certain part where if Albedo saw it, he would most definitely be sorrowful. Carefully and quickly slipping the book under her bed she took another book out and laid it out on her bed before leaving her room.

"Mister Albedo!"

"Hello Sucrose, are you doing any better today?"

"My coughing worsened but again, I should be fine if I get more rest"

"That good, Klee keeps on asking when her 'big sister' will come back"

"ha-ha , tell her that I'll come back when I'm feeling better."

"Will do, here drink up" Albedo said in his normal soft voice that soothed Sucrose's pain in her chest. She was truly grateful that Albedo was taking care of her when they didn't even know what was happening to Sucrose.

"Thank you, mister Albedo. For taking care of me when you don't even know why my body is acting all up."

"No problem. Should I get Barbara to come over?"

"Sure, thank you again."

"No problem, I'll run by the church and ask her to come by tomorrow."

Just as they were saying their goodbyes Sucrose had felt another itch in the back of her throat but this time it was itching more than the one from this morning. She tried to hold it back until Albedo walked out the door. *snap* The door shut and Sucrose couldn't hold it in any more, she coughed continuously trying to get what was stuck in her throat out. SHe coughed a few more times then multiple salmon colored petals came out, it was the petals again, she walked the petals to the small bucket in her room where she kept the petal(s) that she coughed up. After putting the petals in the bucket, she jumped back on her bed retrieving the book in the process from underneath the bed. Flipping it to the chapter where it said what the flower and coloured meant.

Rose - love

Tulips - loyalty

Peony - elegance and beauty

Orchid - luxury

And much more, colors following after the breeds of flowers

Red - romance

Orange - excitement or confidence

Yellow - youthful and energetic

Green - balanced life

She read a few more and got to salmon. "Salmon meaning that you desire romance with the person that you have fallen victim to." Sucrose repeated the word salmon and the phrase after a few more times in shock. She was mortified about the fact that she could have a disease that not many people know about and she had a possibility of dying. "How could I tell mister Albedo that I have a disease that is not known!?" She whispered in fear as she held Osiris tightly. She was terrified, she didn't wanna die just yet. But because her love for Albedo was only one-sided she had caught a non contagious disease. Her love for Albedo was not returned, she thought it was just that he was focused on his goal and had no interest for love. She quickly picked up the book to continue reading to see if there could be a cure for this disease. Page 150, "is there a cure for Hanahaki Disease?" She read carefully, making sure she didn't miss a word.

"Indeed there is a cure for Hanahaki disease, most sickness and diseases have cures so why wouldn't this disease have one? For this it's not that you can use medication to stop it. If the victim wishes to be cured from this disease, they should tell the person that they fell victim to their feelings, but the proposal must be strong enough to move the other person's heart and grow feelings for you as well, another way and the last way is to surgically remove it but once it is removed your feeling for any kind of love would be removed as well. It would disappear. If none of these are of interest, then the victim will have to live with it until they find a new love and heal from it, or either live until the flower eventually kills the victim by suffocating the victim. To stop the pain, you could try to stop thinking about the person as much." After reading this, Sucrose thought she'll try to stop thinking about Albedo for tonight and if she feels better the next morning, then she will go work.

Today she felt better and decided to go to work. She put on her uniform, fed Osiris, took her green pouch and left the house. Her house was near the entrance to Mondstadt, so she needed to walk a few minutes before she got to work. On the way bumping into Noelle,

"Sucrose! Are you feeling better now?"

"Hello Noelle! Thank you for worrying, I'm feeling much better now."

"Are you going to work?"

"Yes, shall we walk back together?"

"Yes please!"

Something in Sucrose's body was stopping her from telling Noelle what had happened. The moment they opened the door, Sucrose saw the last thing that she ever wanted to see.
