"You are family now. We will take care of you." The boogeyman spoke. Jack just smiled widely with a spark in his eyes. Then, Midnight came in with a plate of food. "Hey dad, i made you some... Oh hey Jackie, you're awake! How do you feel?" Jack chuckled before answering. "I feel amazing! Thanks for caring, Midnight." "Oh, before i forget, i told dad about us, and he thinks it's great!" Midnight cheered a little when she said the last words. "I'm right here. I'm not invisible." Pitch was a little annoyed that the two acted like he never was there. "Sorry, Pitch." Jack pouted. Suddenly, Jack had a huge couching fit that ached in his troat. "Are you alright Jack?" Midnight asked conserned. Jack just nodded and continued with his couching fit. "I'll get you some water." Pitch offered and left the room. A little bit later, he came back with a glass of water and handed it to Jack. "Drink it." Jack drunk the water. "Thanks, this is much better." Pitch just ruffled Jack's hair and told the boy to go get some sleep. The boy obeyed directly and covered himself again with the blanckets. Soon, he drifted of in a dreamless sleap. Midnight went to sleep too, it was late. But Pitch on the other hand, was planning again. What was he planning?

~le meanwhile on the north pole~
"It is going great! It is going great!" North cheered happily. Even Bunny was smiling. The plan had been much progress since Bunny had shared his ideas with the other guardians. Tooth was cheering too, as well as her little fairys. Sandy was silent, as always, since he couldn't speak. "Okay, enough happy cheering for today! We have to work with the plan. All we did today was cheering." Bunny demanded. The others came back to the giant table and went back to the plan. Hours later, the plan still was the same as the day before. "Do you know something, Bunny? Yesterday, you did a great job with your ideas." Tooth offered. "No mate, my mind is completely blanc." Bunny said, a sad tone in his voice. "Let's just stop for today and get some rest." North sounded sad too. He loved Jack like a son and didn't want something bad to happen. Everyone nodded in agreement and headed to their rooms. That night, Bunny had another nightmare.

"Hey mate. Stay with us." Bunny was crying a little while watching Jack. Jack just grinned and said: "i am sorry, kangeroo." With those words, the spirit closed his eyes and every single sign of life disappeared from the boy's body. "Jackie, this is not funny! Jack, wake up!" A strange girl was crying over Jack's body. Even Pith seemed sad.

They where at the pole. Tooth was crying in North's arms and Sandy had a guilty look on his face. Bunny was sitting alone in a corner, sobbing over Jack. He never told the boy that he did care and didn't hate him, but now it was to late. "Bunny, are you okay?" Tooth asked with a thrilling voice. "Do you think i'm okay?! Jack is dead, and i couldn't do anything about it!" Bunny snapped. "Sorry, Tooth. I am just really sad. I wish Jack was here. He was too young, it wasn't his time." Bunnymund started crying when he spoke Jack's name.

Bunny sat up, breathing heavily. This one was worse than the one he had before. There was nothing that could help for the plan. Bunny sighed. Maybe these where all visions and Jack would die, nothing to change that. No that can't be, could it? Bunny believed that he just missed Jack and that his mind just was playing tricks on him. It were just nightmares. Pitch made them, so maybe Pitch wanted to play with his mind. Pitch, the devil himself dared to give THE easterbunny nightmares! The boogeyman would pay for this! He was gonna tell the guardians about the nightmares right now. "North, Tooth, Sandy! I have to tell you guys something." Bunny said angry. "What is it, Bunny? New things for the plan?" North asked. He was standing at the door of his workshop and looked tired. "No mate. I've been having these nightmares lately. I don't know why, but they are all about the final battle. Maybe they are visions, or it is just Pitch playing with my bloody mind. I honestly don't know, but i need help with this." "What happened?" Tooth asked, she had heard what Bunny had told North and flew to them. "Let's wait for Sandy, then Bunny can explain everything about it." North said. At that moment, Sandy came in on his little cloud made from golden sand. "Hey, Sandy, mate. We've been waiting for ya." Bunny spoke. Sandy made a question mark above his head. "I'll explain later, mate. We have to bloody hurry." Bunny was getting annoyed. The other guardians quickly followed him to that room with the globe. "Okay, Bunny. Tell me about the nightmare." North came directly to the point, Bunny liked it. "So, i've been having those nightmares lately. I don't really know if they are visions or it's just Pitch." "Okay, so. Is there something about Pitch in it?" Tooth asked curious. "Yeah. He seemed sad." Bunny was thinking it would be visions. Pitch would never show a weak side, not to the guardians. "I think it are visions, i mean, Pitch showing a weak side! No way!" North said. Bunny was getting sadder by every second. This meant that Jack Frost was going to die, for real this time. "What's wrong? What is so bad about those visions?" Toothiana questioned. Bunny sighed deeply before answering the question. "It is about Jack." "Well, what's wrong with Jack?" North sounded serious. Ofcourse he is serious, it's about Jack! "He well, how should i say it? Jack... Jack dies." Bunny started to tear up. All the guardians looked at him, completely in shock. Is Jack Frost really going to die?

Jack groaned. He sat up while he rubbed his hair. "Good morning Jack, how are you feeling?" "I'm fine. Thanks. But you, Pitch Black, look terrible. Have you even had sleep last night?" The spirit questioned. "No, not really." Pitch answered. "You should get some sleep." Jack said. "No Jack, i'm fine." The boogeyman explained. "Okay then."
