Jack Frost entered the liar, while trying to stanch his bleeding nose. He had gotten that one because Bunnymund had tackled him. The stupid kangaroo. "Ah, Jack. There you are. Got new information for me?" Pitch Black asked. Jack just shook his head and asked for a tissue. It was then that Pitch noticed the bleeding nose. He quickly got a tissue and helped Jack. "Who did this, Jack?" "The kangaroo, but it was all worth it." To Jack, it really was worth it. Jack walked to Midnight's room and knocked. Soon, the black haired girl opened with a huge smile. "Hey Jackie! What happened to your beautiful, cute nose?" She teased. Jack raised an eyebrow before answering. "Aster. But about tomorrow, i want you to stay in the back. I can't and i won't risk getting you hurt. Got that?" Midnight nodded and gave Jack a long goodnight kiss (which he really liked) and they both went to sleep.

~time skip to the battle field of the final battle~
There they stood, facing each other. The guardians on one side, Pitch and Jack on the other one. Midnight had listened to Jack and stayed in the shadows, unseen. She begged that her father and Pitch would be safe. "Jack, this isn't you. Come back." Tooth said, hoping to convince Jack. "You guys don't even care! You should be happy i'm not tryin to kill you." Was his answer. The guardians and Pitch gave him a confused look. "I don't want to hurt you, but i'm still angry. I'm not the type of killing unguilty people. But i also don't want to hurt Pitch, because he sees me as family. All i want is peace between you guys." The winter spirit exclaimed. "Well, sorry Jack. Not gonna happen." Bunnymund spoke. Jack rolled his eyes. 'Fine. You want a fight? You'll get a fight.' He thought. A boomerang coming from Bunny made his way to Pitch's head, but Jack blocked it with his staff. "You shouldn't have done that, cottontail. Now, it's on." Jack threatened. Then, all hel breaks loose. Golden and black sand and ice shot trough the sky, mixed with the sound of iron knives, boomerangs, battle roars and the sound op people in pain. And Midnight just watched. She saw it all happen, but deep in her hart, she knew her father and Jack would come out alive. They all would. It went so far that Pitch was fighting North and Bunny. Tooth was recovering from a broken wing (some damage Pitch had done) and Jack was having his own solo fight with Sandy. Jack was dodging every attack with one dimple move and while doing so, he shot some ice to Sandy. It hit Sandy on his arm, which directly froze over. The golden man gasped from the sudden cold and Jack laughed silently. Sandman took the chanse because Jack was distracted and shot some sand at Jack. It was a golden whip, and it wrapped itself around Jack's arm. The winter spirit hissed in pain and grapped his arm to take a quick look at it. He pulled up the sleeve of his hoodie and saw a mark where the golden sand had been. It felt like his flesh was burning. Sandy saw it too and realised the only way to end this war, was killing Jack. So he was the one to kill the boy? But what has to be done, has to be done. The two of them fought each other for a while and Jack managed to freeze one of Sandy's legs. Then, the sandman grabbed Jack's hands and legs with his whips and pulled him to the ground. The teen was struggeling an hopelessly trying to get free, but instead the whips only got tighter. His flesh was burning, and Jack Frost and burning aren't a good match. Jack gritted his teeth and bit his tongue, just so he wouldn't scream from pain. Then, Sandy aimed an arrow at Jack's heart. "Sandy, wait. Don't shoot. Yet. Will you make sure there's peace between Pitch and the guardians. Please?" Jack pleaded. Sandy nodded and then, realeased the arrow. He took one last look at Jack. The boy was... smiling? As soon as the arrow hit Jack, a horrible scream of pain was heard. The golden sand disappeared and the teenager fell to the ground. The other guardians and Pitch stopped their fight too. As soon as they saw Jack, they started to insult each other, screaming it was the other one's fault. Jack looked at Sandy and softly whispered: "please..." with a raspy voice. He was breathing heavily, chest going up and down too fast. And Midnight saw it all. She ran to Jack and laid his head in her lap. She held his hand tightly and with her other hand, she was stroking his hair gently. Midnight was whispering in his ear, whispering that it would be alright. Meanwhile, Bunny looked at Jack and saw the scene he saw in his first nightmare about the final battle. Sandy took the distraction of Bunnymund as a chance to tell him what Jack had said. Sandy tugged at the giant rabbit's arm. "What's wrong Sandy?" Sandy explained it all, in symbols ofcourse. "Peace? Between us and Pitch? Okay, i'll help. For Jack." Bunny glanced at Jack once. His breathing was terrible. He couldn't let the boy be in pain anymore, so he decided to end it now. It was then that he realised Jack's hair had turned back to their usual white color, and his eyes were blue again. He hooped over to Jack and the mysterious girl from the nightmare. "Hey mate. Stay with us." A single tear escaped his eye as he saw Jack. "I am sorry, kangaroo." Jack smiled once, and then closed his eyes, only to never open them again. "Jackie, this is not funny! Jack, wake up!" The mysterious girl was crying over his dead body. 'did she give Jack a nickname? They must be very close.' Bunnymund thought. Meanwhile, Sandy had explained everything to the others. "Pitch, let's end this useless war forever." North said. "And why should i do that?" Was the answer. "Because Jack wanted to do this. It was his last wish. Do you want to disappoint him?" Bunny almost yelled. This seemed to get his attention. "Fine, i'll make peace with you guys. But, you make it look like i'm the bad guy. Did you guys knew the boy did self-harming?" Pitch's voice shivered when he spoke the last part. The guardians gasped and Tooth covered her mouth with her hands. They couldn't believe what Pitch had said. "Peace?" North asked, his normal happy voice now a sad, depressed one. Pitch took the hand and shook it. "Peace. And i hope forever." Pith answered. Midnight was still holding Jack's dead body. She gasped when something happened. "G-guys? You might wanna see this." She said. Everyone came and saw what was happening. Jack's hair went to brown and his skin became a little bit less pale. Hus clothes also changed. (Now he looks like himself before he died.). Bunny gasped. He recognised Jack, why didn't he saw that before. The kid was Jackson Overland, also known as Bunnymund's first believer.
