"Mom?" How can she be here, she's dead? Unless I'm dead.
"Hi Beatrice."
"Is it time for me to go?"
"Yes, are you ready?"
I'm not sure. I don't want to leave Tobias or Christina or Caleb or anyone else, but I want to be free of the pain.
"Mom, can I go with you for awhile until I'm ready to go back?"
"You are so strong" she says with tears in her eyes "of course you can."
"I love you mom."
"I love you too."
So I take her hand, but I know that it's not forever.
