[ Chapter 23 ]

"How's he?"Kazutora asked as he puts Takemichi's body over his shoulder

"He's fine, I managed to get the bullet out.. Takemichi probably thinks he's dead"Camie replies looking at him

Footsteps were heard behind them as the gunshots stopped outside, Kazutora didn't need to turn around to know who it was

"How are they?"Sero asked standing beside Kazutora

"Well.. like I said, fine.. although, we should probably go"she points her head out back behind her

"I'll carry him"Sero informs as he stands beside Camie to lift Naoto off the table

"I'll grab the bikes"Todoroki informs before leaving

Kazutora follows behind him to help with Takemichi still on his shoulders, he was surprised when he lifted the male, he might look like he's only bones and no flesh but he's actually heavy, average to say the least for someone in his age, he's still quite light to Kazutora's surprise

While putting the bikes in the back of the truck that they'll be using to get away from this place, Kazutora couldn't help but feel worried

It's already been twelve years and Toman was still an evil organization, the others died much to his dismay, he really wanted to help but with Kisaki and Izana hot on his trail, on the mission to kill him, he couldn't do much and just watches the group protect him

He's thankful for them for a lot of reasons, one of them is being able to stay by his and Takemichi's side, helping the both of them with their problems, the other is with the group treating him like their family, he didn't exactly receive that kind of treatment from his parents so he was thankful for them for that

"Everything is set?"Sero asked and he nods as he sits on one of the chairs beside the bike as he lays Takemichi beside him, the latter's head on his lap

The others have changed over the years, Sero's hair grew longer tied in a low ponytail, Todoroki's hair also grew longer but he cut it into a similar style of Kazutora's hair in middle school, Bakugou changed his hair into a mullet, Midoriya changed his hair to look like Chifuyu, Kirishima kept his red hair but it was styled into a jellyfish/mullet type of hair, Denki's hair was also longer with the ends dyed in black

Kazutora kept his long hair with his bangs bleached, he didn't really want to change anything about himself, he's just glad the group is still here and complete with him

They formed a hidden organization that no gangs or yakuza's can get their hands on, he was opposed to the idea at first, specially with the girls joining but he couldn't really stop them, specially if they want to help Takemichi and stop Mikey

He knew about Takemichi's time leaping before Chifuyu died, who confessed everything that happened while he was apparently in juvie, the group didn't tell Toman that they bailed him out, now he knows why the group was so determined to help him in the past and why they even bother including someone like him

According to them, he was part of the reason why the group stayed when they were supposed to leave twelve years ago, he's not sure what they meant by leave but he thinks it's about them coming back to their hometown

The group's been helping him a lot but all he does is burden them by being close to them, they've done a lot for not just him and Takemichi but to Toman but I guess when you're being manipulated, all those bonds you form with each other will easily break

"We're here.."Sero informs as he opens the door of the back of the truck

Kazutora steps out with Takemichi in his shoulders as Camie approaches them
