(Mention of blood)
You get home you put away your groceries and sit on the couch.
You were just thinking of what was going on. All of a sudden you get a FaceTime call from Chris. You answer it.
"Hey" he says exited
"Hi" you smile at him. It was nice seeing his face again.
"Are you okay, you look a bit upset" Chris noticed right away, he know you too well.
"Yeah I'm fine" you assure him. You try changing the topic "so what's all rumours with you and Lizzo ?" You ask as you both share a laugh
"I really don't know" Chris reply's
"I thinks it entertaining" you you say with a sarcastic/ attitude tone
"Are you jealous ?" He asks
"Of course I am have you seen her ?" You say.
"I have and as amazing as she is I still love you, and there is no one better then you. I promise" Chris says, with glossy eyes. You can see he's missing you, a lot.
"so tell me how was your day" Chris asks standing up and taking his computer to the kitchen, he's probably going to have lunch.
"I really don't want to talk about it" you say
"That bad huh ?" He asks
"Mhm" you nod. There was a salience between you two, then all of sudden you hear a knock "wait someone at the door" you say getting up. Chris just looks at you.
You open the door.
"Oh Liam hi" you say surprised
"Hey, I just came to ask if you were okay" he says "you looked a bit upset earlier" he says
Before you could answer Liam you here Chris in the back asking "who's that ?"
"Oh do you have company ?" He asks a bit embarrassed.
"No I was just talking to Chris" you tell him
"Right Chris your boyfriend" he says you nod "well I just wanted to check on you that's all, see you around" Liam says awkwardly as he leaves.
Weird
You walk back to where you had your computer
"Who was that ?" Chris asks
"Oh it's my new neighbour, the one who moved into your old place" you say
"Oh right. So what's his back story ?" Chris asks you
"Well he used to be a lawyer, but he didn't have enough time for his wife and she ended up cheating in him. So He quit being a lawyer and is here gardening" you explain
"Oh poor guy from lawyer to a gardener" Chris says
"I think it's good, he's trying something new" you say
"Yeah. Just be careful when your changing you clothes" Chris says
"Why ?" You ask
"Believe me when I lived there I got a perfect view of your window" Chris laughs
"If we weren't dating id be disgusted by you" you both laugh "but I will close the curtains when I'm changing" you assure him
"Good" Chris smiles.
"When can I see you ?" You two are not trying to be one of those clingy couples who can't live without each other for a day, but you really miss him. It's hard waking up next to him for a month then all of a sudden waking up alone. It's hard but you two are trying your best. Cause this has to work one way or another. You aren't ready to move to Boston and Chris Isn't ready to move to Italy. So long distance is the only option right now. "I miss you"
"I'm miss you too. But I have busy month" Chris tells you "but I'll take the first flight I can find when I'm feee I promise"
You and Chris talked for two more hours.
You had fallen asleep on FaceTime with Chris.
Chris just looks at you admiring everything about you.
"Y/n" Chris says "I have to go, talk to you tomorrow, love you" he says ending the call.
You just slept one the couch.

You wake up later that day, it was late but you were starving so you decided to cook something. Go go to the kitchen and start cooking, some rice and vegetables. While you waited for the rice you chopped some vegetables.
You were still a bit distracted by your thoughts about James. Why Italy ? Why did he choose to live here ? These questions were flaying around in your head, you didn't even notice you had cut you finger. You look down and see blood all over the knife, cutting bored and the vegetables.
You scream loudly
You quickly cover your mouth with your hand, shocked in how loud you screamed. You quickly try cleaning it up but more and more blood kept gushing out.
You wash your hands under some cold water.
You hear a knock on your door
You take cloth abs put it over your finger, pressing it tightly. You open the door and see Liam.
"Hey you okay ?" He asks "I heard a scream" he looks down at you finger. "Oh god" he says
"It's just a cut" you tell him.
"It looks deep, let me help you" Liam walks in you house and quickly asks "where is the fist aid kit ?" Liam asks
"In the bathroom upper shelf" you quickly say as the bleeding gets worse.
Liam runs to the bathroom and gets the kit. He runs over to where your sitting, he gets down on his knees and starts wrapping you finger up.
"I wouldn't use this finger anymore" he jokes
"Believe me I won't" you say with a smile "thanks" you say. If it weren't for him you would of probably passed out or worse.
"No problem" he smiles
You two just look at each other
"You should get going, it's late" you say to him
"Yeah. Take care" with that Liam leaves.
