Macy POV-
I looked at my phone in awe. This was it. It was over for me. And it was my fault. Sage stood up running out of the door. I watched as people looked at her, then turned to me. I looked around, everyone had their mouths open as they looked at what they were just sent.
I stood up, walking out of the room. I walk to the bathroom.
"Sage?" I said. I heard a soft cry from one of the stalls. I walked in on my father, the click of the door opening caused me to turn around, standing in the stall was Sage, with tears running down her face, I walked closer to her. She wrapped her arms around my neck, sobbing. I hugged her back. Knowing that's all I could do.
I took Sage home after that, I drove her home, she was quiet the whole way home. We held each other's hand as we drove.
When we made it to her house I walked her to her bed and laid down with her. We laid in splinters for over 10 minutes, I broke the silence.
"I'm sorry"
"its okay" she spit out. I knew it wasn't. And it felt like my fault.
Even though you could only see my car in the picture, everyone knew it was me. Sage knew it was us. So did i. And soon enough, everyone else will too.
