It's been 4 fucking months now.
Antantaru and I were walking around, trying to find another spot we could go to. When we just settled in, I heard something whisper around me. The whispers started to lure me somewhere.
"Um, Momota! Where are you going?" Antanaru had said. "Stay there, okay? I'm just going to check something." I said, picking up my bag. He nodded and sat down. Then I began to walk foward.
When I got close..
I could see..
Purple.
Blue.
Black.
White.
And..pink?
My mind went blank. I couldn't speak. It was..was
"Ko..kich-i..?" I finally said.
It was Oma, sitting down under a tree. Blood sputtering out of his mouth, leg, and chest areas.
I knew. I just knew.
I would need help.
I got out my kit to stop the bleeding. When everything was stopped, I ran back to Antantaru. He then, took all my stuff, put it in a bag, and set me off.
"Wait..you aren't coming?" I said, holding Oma tight.
"I'm afraid I can't. This forest..is my home. I don't think I can face the world ever again." He said. "You'd better. Please..tell Oma I said hi."
And with that, Antanaru disappeared.
I grabbed my phone and started running.
First, I called Shuichi.
Shuichi pov
"Hello? This is Shuichi-" "--------------------" "Kaito?! Oh! OKAY JUST TRY AND GET BACK! WE'LL BE RIGHT THERE!" Beep beep beep Shuichi scrambled for Maki.
When he told her eveything, she almost cried. "Let's get to the hospital. NOW." She said. We ran straight towards the large building.
I hope they're okay..
Kaito pov
When I got there, I put his information in. When I said I wasn't his family they took him away into the hospital. I was forced to sit there and wait.
I could see Shuichi and Maki running straight to me. I told them what had happened, leaving out the "I'll find you" part. They started to hug me as tight as they could.
I accepted the embrace but I was too invested with Kokichi. My mind kept replaying the scene.
I just listened to Maki and Shuichi talk to me for hours on end.
Until a nurse came out to tell us something.
