My eyes lit up in surprise

Kokichi is awake?

Maki looked at my face with a mix of a smile and annoyance. She really does hate him huh?

"What?! Can-Can you come with me to the hospital?! PLEASE MAKI ROLL?!?!?" I pratically begged her.

She pounced back from my begging. "Fine, but get Saihara over here and we can go." "On it!" I said happily.

Good thing for Miu's invention! I took it up in my hands and started the small ritual. Maki was still weirded out by what you had to do.

As I pushed the red button, the colored light violently appeared. Lighter, and lighter it turned. We both sat in surprise, this was the second time we saw this so it's reasonable.

Then a blurred Saihara started to appear. And appear. And appear.

Maki looked over at the Shuichi that suddenly fell on his knees and fear.

"HWAHH-! WHERE- huh? Maki? Kai?" Shuichi started.

Maki was startled, I smiled at her and waited for her response. "Ugh.., we want to go to the hospital. Kokichi is alive and well. I just got a call."

Shuichi immediately got up, "REALLY?! THEN LETS HURRY!" Shuichi yelled in excitement. I shouted in happiness and took both their arms. Then we ran running to the hospital.

As we opened the doors, we saw a lot of people. Shuichi smiled at the crowds who looked at us and Maki gave a menacing death stare. I love my friends so much.

Suddenly a nurse came up to us. "What seems to be the matter?" She asked, thinking we were hurt. Maki got up and shook her hand, "We are here to see someone. Kokichi Oma."

The nurse nodded and gave us directions. Shuichi and I smiled and ran to the elevator we were taking, Maki walked there.

As we hit the floor we were going to, Maki started dragging us. Shuichi was wincing and I was just laughing. But then we got to the room.

I stood there in shock so Shuichi and Maki could see.

"Kaito..what's wrong?" Shuichi asked.

"Yeah, you were so excited to see him." Maki added.

"I think I need some time out here, you guys go in first." I managed to say. They nodded and went inside the hospital room.

Do I really want to see kokichi?

I was the one who killed him.

I said I'd find him,

it was because of me that he left.

"Kaito! Kokichi wants to see you one on one." Shuichi called from the room.

I looked up in surprise to see Maki. "My chair now." She happily said, snuggling into the chair i was sitting in. "PFF- HAHA-! Makiii~ That was my seat!" I said sarcastically.

Maki pushed to the door and i sighed. "Thanks Shu." I said, watching him wave and sit on Maki. "SAIHARA YOURE HEAVYYY!" "DEAL WITH IT MAKII" was the last thing i heard before closing the door.

When I got inside, I saw someone sitting on the bed. "Hi Kaito!" he called out. I put down my cane and sat next to him.

"Hey Ouma!"

We both started talking until i remembered something. I took my phone out and scrolled to a photo of Antantaru. "He wanted to say hi."

Oma took the picture happily and hugged it. "I missed him.." "And not me?" I said dramatically.

"Of course i missed you! I got attacked by wolves in that forest." Oma said, rolling his eyes.

Oma stood up and kissed my cheek. "And im glad we made that promise." "The promise I'll find you?" I asked. "Yep, because I wanted to tell you something when you did."

Kokichi then kissed me on the lips and hugged me tight.

"I love you, Kaito."

I was shocked. him? Loving me? This had to be a dream. I hugged back and kissed his forehead.

"I love you too, Kokichi."
