A Royal Ball

It's been 2 months since I've worked at the palace, it feels strange that everyone
well almost everyone has a liking of me,
The wound from the arrow seems to be closing up and seems to be getting better
It was just a typical day where I was commanded and running errands, no one
know yet that I'm a women dressing up as a men

" Andi ? " A voice called from behind causing me to turn around,

" Zain? Uh is there something I need notice of ? " I asked politely.

" There's going to be a royal ball tonight, the Queen insisted you to come, "
From that sudden news I went a bit shocked,

" Uh... I don't think I should be attending.... besides I don't even have a dre- um
anything good to wear.... " I declined but when I saw the serious look on Zain's face
I got unsure so I ended up attending the ball.

I went to the ball, but to only serve not to actually be in it,
I was walking around the ball greeting ladies and sirs but...
My eyes caught a maid who was carrying a tray and there had been many stuff
upon it, I quickly ran over and..

( SPLASH!! )

Wine and the glasses all fell and I was splashed with tons of wine,
But I manage to save the maid from a falling bottle,

" I'm very very very sorry, please forgive me and my rudeness, are you okay? " Emi bows
her head in shame,
" Oh no no I'm fine, the question is are you ok ? " I smiled at her,
" Y-Yes I'm ok but I'm terrible sorry, your lovely clothes are ruined " Emi's very clumsy
but she has an awesome heart,

" Oh come on, this, this is noting " I reassured her and she smiles at me about to cry...
" What happened here ? " prince Joshua pops in out of nowhere and yes again with
the rest of the princes...
" Oh your highnesses " she quickly bowed while I just stood there looking at them.
" What happened and why are you soaking wet ? " Keith raised his brow....
" Oh I'm sorry it was -- " Emi didn't finish and I talked over her,
" I was being careless and bumped into her and the wine went flying everywhere " I stood bold,
" Serves you right * cough cough * " Keith whispers...
" What? " I looked at him and leaned in,

" She's fired " Keith demands before thinking...
" Huh?! " Emi started to get teary and I pulled her into an embrace...
" No please don't fire her she didn't do anything wrong like I said it was me " I spoke,
Edward puts his hand on Keith's arm and says
" If he says it's fine it's fine " Edward giving Keith a stern look, he back down..

" Wait I'm not doing this for free though " he smiles evilly at me....
" Ok what is it then ? " I looked at him right in the eyes....
" Looking brave huh? Alright impress me " he crossed his arms and looked down upon me,
I smiled and bowed " my honor " I leave and return with a bottle of wine....
" What are you going to do? Chug it all down, it's not really impressive at all " he raises
his chin.

I smiled and said,
" Just watch, remember I have a wound and wine plus wounds isn't the best thing "
" Are you mocking me? You can't do it ? " He smirks...
We started making a scene, crowds and crowds of people watched us....
I removed the patch covering the cut and....

* POP ! *
* GUSHHHH!!!! *

" Oh my look at him, he has no empathy at all, more like no soul " the whole crowd
went shock along with the princes.....
Whispering and gossiping,
When the wine was poured down on me I stared prince Keith right in the eye
with a burning passion....
" Sorry for my rudeness your highness but if you'll excuse me I should go change and
clean up this mess " I smiled and bowed,

I was about to walk away when prince Keith grabs me by the arm and says
" Doesn't that sting ? I thought you were bluffing " he looks at filled with anger
" Come with me ! " He says and pulls me away and the rest follows him.

He brings me to a room with a bunch of maids or something like that...
" Wait what are you doing ? Let me go ! " I yelled at him,
" Be quiet! " He yells over me.....
" Fix him or her up and be careful with the wound " he says to a bunch of doctors,
Soon after I cleaned my wound I was pulled into a room and....

" Hey don't touch me!! "
" Whoa ! I am not putting that on ! "
" Ekkk!!! "
" Hey !! "
" Let go ! "
* BAM *
" Oh my gosh I'm so sorry are you ok! Hey let me go ! "
" Ouch!! Hey!!! "
" Don't touch my hair!! "
Whines and yells and hollering came out of a room, all from me.

* BAM *

I slam the door open and all the princes looked at me in shock...
" What? Is there something on my face? " I tried to calm down in " that " mess,
" You're... you're a women??!! " Prince Joshua, Glenn and Keith said confused...
( the heck is wrong with these people )
" You look beautiful uh what's your name again ? " Prince Edward asked...
" Uh... butler V.... " I answered....
" I'm sorry I meant what's your real name ? " He smiles at me,
" Uh.... my name..... uh..... "
They all smiled at me.....
" Uh... my name is Akane Andi ?...... " I replied
" Akane what a lovely name " Edward smiles and walks over to me.

He puts his hands on my shoulders and pushes me to a mirror,
" What? " I blushed a bit....
He gestures his hand and I look ahead,
................
" Whoa...... "
" Is that me..... " I spoke and walked up closer to the mirror,

" You're beautiful Akane " prince Roberto comments and walks up to me,
" Really cute too " he grins....
" I wouldn't say I'm pretty... but wow " I nodded then turn to them and smiled,
" May remove uh all this now ? " I asked but prince Roberto pulls my hand and
drags me into the ball room.

( ok maybe I should try and be nice )
I took a deep breath and when I turned around saw prince Glenn looking at me....
He walked up to me and pulled me into his chest then whispers
" You don't belong here " he releases me and a crowd of women were glaring at me....

I sighed and walked over to the table filled with sweets and drinks,
I grabbed a cup and when I turn around I saw prince Edward,
" Oh! uh hi " I jumped in surprise
" Good evening malady, would you care for this dance ? " He puts his hand out...
( I don't no how to dance!!! Maybe I should refuse)
" ..... Uh the problem is... I can't dance, I'm sorry " I rejected him and felt horrible but
I can't really blame anyone but myself cause I really don't know how to dance,
I'm also out of his league....

Prince Edward smiles at me then pulls my hand,
" Come I'll lead you, just try to follow me "
" Uh! "
He leads me to an empty space in the dance floor and grabs my waist,
" Oh! " Being touched there by a guy of the first time.....
I began blushing and Edward began to lead, first I was horrible but then
I got used to it and was doing a pretty good job.

When the song was over he came to a stop and smiles at me,
" You did a good job " he bowed and left....
" excuse miss Akane, may I have this dance " I turn around and see prince Roberto...
" Uh... "
He grabs my hand and waist and starts dancing,
( wow everyone's so good at dancing )
" Whoa! " I tripped and almost fell but was caught by two strong arms....
I looked up to see prince Roberto holding me and he made it looked as if it was part
of the dance...

It was just in time too that the song had end and he bowed then left.
" What a day " I sighed and walked outside to the balcony....

A sound of the door opening caused me to look behind me...
" Oh.... hello " I smiled at prince Keith....
He comes up and leans against the balcony.....
" I thought you were bluffing... I didn't know you were really planning to do that... "
He looks my way, I replied
" Well I do what I can... for friends and fam...ily..... " I sighed and he grabs my waist,
" Ekk!! What are you doing ? " I looked at him surprised and blushed.

" Shut up " he puff and then slowly starts dancing,
" Just try to keep up " he added...
after a little while I remember....
( I'm not suppose to being doing anything like this... besides I'm a commoner... )
I pull away and bowed,
* yawn *
" I'm-tired-ok-bye-I-got-to-go ! " I quickly bowed and left.

I took off the dress and make up then put my clothes on and left the ball....
" We live in completely different worlds "
" .... "

I ended up dancing with all the princes too thats...... weird.....
