Returning to the present.
Sir Reginald: It can't be... --looking at the two supergirls who were still embracing--
Director: Is everything okay? --quickly opening the door-- -I was in the passageway and I couldn't help but see lights.
Sir Reginald: I adopt them --he paused-- -Both of them.
--A big smile formed on Crystal's face, while Xiomara only looked at Sir Reginald, puzzled by what he had just said and what had just happened. Her mind filled with a thousand and one thoughts, why would Sir Reginald Hargreeves want to adopt us? If he only has superchildren under his care--
--The director was speechless, the problem girl and her tail were leaving, she could only say: -Wow, w-well, I'll do the papers right away.
--Sir Reginald nodded--
At the front door
Crystal: I can't believe I finally have a FATHER *internal screams* well we do, which is much better!! happy dance --the girl moved her fists to the beat of her hips--
Xiomara: Yes, we will be together...
Crystal: Is something wrong? I find you strange.
Xiomara: No, nothing, just ignore me, but don't ignore this... Officially WE WILL BE SISTERS!!
--Sir Reginald came out of the orphanage with a manila folder in his hand--
Sir Reginald: Come on girls, get in --he said to the supergirls who were still standing in front of the car--
Crystal: Goodbye! I'm not going to miss you --making a gesture with her hand while she saw the facade of the orphanage--
Arriving at the Academy
Sir Reginald: Girls, don't go out yet, I'll be back in a moment --both girls nodded--
...
--Xiomara was still looking with a frown, still thinking of a thousand and one crazy theories while Crystal was still happy looking out the window--
Crystal: Hey, what are you thinking? --she asked, noticing her now sister with a lost look--
Ximara: Huh?
Crystal: When you think, you always frown, and years of being with you helped me to know that look, so...
-What are you thinking? --she sat down, turning her back to the window and looking at her sister carefully and then listening to her in the same way--
Xiomara: Doesn't it seem strange to you, and I could even say suspicious, that the man who is in charge of six super-children wants to adopt us? --causing Crystal to frown in confusion--
Crystal: But we don't have powers...
--Xiomara was about to say a word but was interrupted by...
Pogo: Nice to meet you, ladies --he greeted after opening the car door, causing the girl to remain silent looking at him in surprise, Crystal poked her head out and when she saw a primate with advanced intelligence her jaw dropped--
Sir Reginald: Girls, you can go down now.
--When they came down they saw a beautiful woman with a white shirt and a pink skirt with a print of black dots--
Grace : Hi, loves --with a smile--
--The girls politely greeted Pogo and Grace with a smile--
Grace: Surely you are hungry, come with me --offering a hand to Xiomara and another hand to Crystal-- -I will prepare something delicious for you.
--The girls looked at Sir Reginald--
Sir Reginald: Go with her, girls.
--The girls took Grace's hands, and together they entered the great Umbrella Academy--
In a room
Grace : I hope you enjoy it --leaving each of you a plate of French toast stuffed with papaya jam and orange juice-- -And remember loves, drink all the juice.
Xiomara: It's fine, thank you.
Crystal: Yes, thank you very much.
--Grace stayed with the girls until they finished breakfast--
Grace : Very good, loves --she said seeing that both girls drank all the juice--
Minutes later both girls fell into a deep sleep.
Pogo: Remember, Grace. Nobody must know this, at least not for now.
Grace : I understand --she said with a smile--
