Ch. 5: first victory

Hi everyone! This chapter is shorter, but I hope you'll have just as fun reading it than I had fun writing it!

-Just shut up and defend the weapon! Bakugo roared, holding his device in his ear to talk to his teammate, Iida.
He then turned into combat mode again, making Deku yell «Go!» at Nori. The girl ran as fast as she could, until she didn't hear the commotion anymore. She made her way to find the weapon, hidden somewhere into the building.  Nori roamed awhile in the dark alleys. Where could it be? I'll need to explore the alleys one by one. Maybe going from up to down would help? If I'm lucky, I should stumble in soon. If I'm not, my team will lose. I can't have that. Greeny trusts me. She started counting the seconds. 1, 2, 3... she got up to 87 seconds, until she took a turn and met face to face with the person she needed to avoid the most.
-YOU! The blond raged.
Nori reacted fast, teleporting behind him, grabbing him by the waist and lunching him behind, which made him land on the floor for the second time.
-Sorry, she whispered, as Bakugo growled in pain.
She concentrated and teleported him near the entrance, where they got in a fight for the first time. Let's jut hope Greeny's not there. The girl reached her ear to talk to her teammate.
-Greeny? You okay?
-Yeah, he reacted, his voice coming from the device. I'm okay. I escaped Kacchan few seconds ago.
-Well I teleported him at the entry, so we should be fine for a bit. Do you want me to teleport you here?
-Yes please.
A fraction of a second later, Deku was standing by Nori's side.
-Did you find the weapon? He enquired.
-No, not yet. I was planning to go from up to down, what do you think?
-He'll probably be in one of the higher grounds to tire us up while we climb, so yes, it's a good idea. Can you teleport us to the higher you've been?
-'kay.
They got up few more grounds, but they began hearing Katsuki's explosions ring into their ears again.
-He'll be looking for me. Go find the weapon, you'll be the best to compete against Iida.
Nori nodded and sprinted away. She got more stories up, and finally stumbled upon Iida. He was making a weird speech on how he was supposed to «get into character» as a villain. Nori puffed at his serious behavior, which made him notice she was there.
-A hero! He yelled, pointing at her.
She taunted her belt to fetch her capture tape, but only found a blank space. Oh no! It must have fallen when I flipped Sparky! She thought while dodging Iida's attacks, but even if her quirk made her develop a photographic memory, she couldn't recall where she fought the boy, since all the alleys looked the same. So instead of grabbing her belt, she reached her ear.
-Greeny, we got a problem, she urged. I can't find my capture tape, and I don't know where I lost it, so I can't teleport it back!
-Uuuuuuh... Izuku responded. Wait a little. I'll try to send you mine.
-But how?
-Just hold on to the wall when I say so.
-Okay!
She and Tenya continued their little game of tag, until they felt a rumble under their feet.
-Now! Izuku's voice shouted in her ear.
Nori grabbed the nearest wall and Iida walked away from the center of the shake. A giant blast erupted from the floor, sending piece of floor flying. In all the debris, Nori noticed the white roll of Deku's capture tape, lunched in mid-air. She quickly teleported there to grab the tape, and apparated all around Iida, wrapping him up with the capture tape. She then touched the weapon, announcing «weapon retrieved» at the same time All Might's voice came in saying «Time's up.» through the microphone
-Team hero... Wins! The big voice of the pro exclaimed.
Nori smiled at her hard-earned victory.
