So here it is for the first chapter! Hope you'll like it!

While walking out of the car, who was parked in front of UA's impressive doors, Nori Yoshike kissed her father, Dai Yoshike, on the cheek.
-Good luck, darling! The man told his daughter. Don't let the bugs eat you!
Nori chuckled at the little expression her father use since she was little to tell her goodbye. It fited perfectly well, due to his job as an entomologist.
-Sure won't! She replied with a smile in her voice.
She waved at him while he started the car and leaved. She then turned on her heels to walk to the gates, just to bump into a certain spiky-haired blondie.
-Watch were you're going, damn extra! The exclaimed as he was trying to regain balance.
- I'm so sorry! Nori excused, bending over. I didn't see you!
- Then buy some damn glasses! He spat hostilely.
As Nori was trying to respond at the rude behaviour of the blond, she had a sudden realization.
- You're the dude who was attacked by the sludge monster few months ago!
As if he didn't hear what the dark-haired girl said, he walked off whiteout answering anything. Whiteout missing a beat, Nori followed his steps to ask him more questions.
- My big brother was there during the incident! I heard your name was Katsuki Bakugo? And that you have an explosion quirk? How does it work? Were you scared?
Just as Nori finished the last question, the-boy-who-was-now-named-Bakugo turned around like he had been stung by a wasp.
- SCARED? ME? I'M NEVER SCARED! Bakugo yelled at Nori, before stomping off to the entrance of UA.
Okay? Nori thought, before pulling herself together, thinking:I can't let myself get distracted by rude people. She continued her path, to be given a card at the door to assign her a place in the auditorium, where the voice hero, Present Mic, would explain a little what was going to happen during the exam. She barely sat down that projectors with the ear-ringing voice of Present Mic.
-What's up UA candidates? Thanks for tunin' in to me, your school DJ! C'mon and let me hear you!
His enthusiastic phrase soon ended up shielded by the silence ruling the auditorium.
- Keeping it mellow, huh? He continued, not paying attention to everyone's lack of words. That's fine, I'll skip to the main show. Let's talk about this practical exam is gonna go down, okay? Are you ready? Yeah!
While the silence kept solid in the room, Nori couldn't help thinking about all the times she used to listen to his show on the radio when she was cooking with her mom. Present Mic was her favorite hero, aside from All Might, of course, and her older siblings, who followed the path of heroing. He's exactly the same in person.
- Like your application said, present continued his monologue, today you rock in' boys and girls will be out there conducting ten minutes mock battles in super-hip urban settings! Gird your loins, my friends. After I drop that mic here, you'll head to your battle center, sounds good? Okay?
Nori looked down at her card to check which battle center she was going to be in, which turned out to be the Battle Center A.
- Okay, Okay, let's check out our targets. There are three types of faux villains in every battle center. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty, so better choose wisely. Your goal in this trial is to use your quirk to raise your score by shredding these faux villains like a mid-song guitar solo. But, check it! Make sure you're keep'n things heroic. Attacking other examinees is a UA no-no, y'a dig?
Of course someone attacking another like that would disqualify you. It would be totally unhero-like! Nori's train of thoughts was interrupted by a tall blue-haired boy, who was getting up to talk.
- Excuse me, sir, but I have a question, he requested.
-Hit me! Present Mic exclaimed, pointing at the boy who was standing up.
- On the printout, you've listed four types of villains, not three. With all respects, if this is an error on official UA materials, it is shameful. We are exemplary students. We expect the best from Japan's most notable school. A mistake such as this won't do. Additionally, you with unkept hair, you've been muttering this entire time. Stop that. If you can't bother to take this seriously, leave. You're distracting the rest of us.
Geez, calm down. Even if he made a point, Nori was still offended on how rude he was to the green boy he had pointed earlier.
-All right, all right, Present Mic tempered  him down. Examinee number 7111. Thanks for calling in with your request. The fourth villain type is worth zero points. That guy's just an obstacle we'll be throwing in your way. There's one in every battle center. Think of it as a hurdle you should try to avoid. It's not that it can't be beaten, but there's ... kinda no points. I recommend my listeners to try to ignore it and focus on the ones toppin' the charts!
Nori chuckled lightly at the hero's little pause, while the tall boy bended and sat down.
-Thank you very much, please continue.
- That's all I got for you today. I'll sign off with a little present. A sample of our school motto! As General Napoleon Bonaparte once laid down, « a true hero is one who overcomes life's misfortunes. » mm-hm, now that's a tasty sound bite. You ready to go beyond? Let's hear a Plus Ultra!
Just as Present Mic said the words, the wide tv behind him lighted up in dozen of colours in the words « Plus Ultra »
- Good luck! Hope you practiced hitting more than books.
As Present Mic finished his monologue, Nori and the other girl examinees headed towards the woman's changing room to change into more practical outfits. After changing, Nori walked to the Battle Center A, a knot stuck in her stomach. Nori knee this was where her future was going to be decided.

That's all for the first chapter! Goodbye!
