[Just imagine that the Italics are talked in French, thanks :]
"Bash, do you wanna talk about it?"
Gilbert urged his dark-skinned friend, they were back on the steamship, in the usually cramped room they were given, this did not make the boy think of leaving though, for he was filled with determination to explore the world.
"Bash." He spoke, annoying Sebastian.
"I know you're not asleep, your eyes are open," Gilbert chuckled,
"Sebastian?" He called once more, only to be interrupted by another,
"Your born name is Sebastian? Sounds like you should own this boat. And I thought Bash meant you liked to rough a feller up." The man joked,
"You have ruined my reputation, I could hit you a two-tap myself." Bash finally responded as he looked back at Gilbert,
This brought back a certain memory in the boy's mind, a familiar memory that he held dear and would never forget,
"There was this girl back in Avonlea." He tells as he stared at nowhere,
"Cassie."
He muttered her name with such a peculiar tone in his voice that would make you love the person in an instant, his eyes with a glint of passion that you wouldn't understand.
"Whenever I would do something she doesn't approve of, she would whack me over the head. Like that one time, I got in a fight with this douche. She hit me so hard, I thought I had a concussion."
He laughed as he told his tale,
"I give her right on that." Bash replies,
"Courageous personality."
He described the girl who caught his heart from the start,
"She should've done more than whack you," Bash says,
"Wonder if I'll ever see her again, I hope I do..."
Gilbert trails, the vivid memory of the pain in Cassandra's eyes he saw when he boarded the ship sent shivers down his skin.
"How long you plannin' to say on this ship?" Bash cut the boy's thoughts,
"I don't know, I wanna go wherever the spirit moves me, that's what my dad used to say," Gilbert responds,
"I feel like we'll be crackin' coal forever." Bash speaks,
"Like them pistons in the engine, always going and going and going nowhere." He continued,
Gilbert listened closely as Bash spoke, speaking of his mind.
"I'm trapped here." Bash confesses,
"I felt trapped in Avonlea." Gilbert relates,
"If I go back home, I may never be able to leave." He says with a squint with his eyes,
"Boy, you call that a problem?" The man from before spoke from his makeshift bed, "Some of us ain't have no home." He says pertaining to everyone sleeping and working on the steamship to live,
Bash sadly sighs as he turned, wanting to get enough rest for the next day.

The loud chatters of the people in the country had shocked Cassandra as she had lived all her life in peaceful Avonlea. She did not expect the loud buzzer of everyone as they were offered products, services, and joyful background chatters in general.
"Excuse me, do you know where we can find a train to France?" Joseph says in French, though Cassandra only understood a few words as she wasn't fluent in the language.
"Ah, yes. There is a train there, headed south. It would take you straight to Paris." The man says as he pointed down the road, "Thank you." Joseph spoke, carrying their bags as the girl followed his lead.
"Mother taught you, French, yeah?" Joseph says through squinted eyes as they both navigated themselves to the train station. "A bit? I never really paid much attention. Thought I never needed it," Cassandra shrugs,
"Well, would you look at that, we're in France and you need to speak French." Her brother teased, "I despise you." The girl muttered as they found the right station,
"You can't, I'm your brother." He smiles, "That doesn't make sense," She spoke, but her brother only rolled his eyes as they went on the train,
Their next destination was the city of Love.
