Chapter 8: Coming to terms

''B-but he's my best friend, he took me in when I was banished from my former kingdoms. I was going to be a homeless traveler without him and his family. They are the reasons I didn't have to struggle. So, I owe them my life but what if he falls in love with Temari? If he falls in love with her, what will happen to me? Should I figure out a plan b just in case something bad happens and I get kicked out? What would my plan b be? How would I execute it? Should I tell him straight up? How would I go about that? Should I say, "I love you Shikamaru"? Should I just write a letter and have to mailed?! Shit! What am I going to do!? He's my best friend! I can't be in love with him.... plus, he would need someone who can provide an Heir to the Throne.' I thought. This must a a really close sibling bond 'At least I hope...'

    I woke up and it was a pretty standard morning; The bird was chirping a melody, Kurama is phrasing through the walls, the sun is shining through the windows with a white tint, Shikamaru's sleeping face is on my chest with his arms wrapped around my waist tightly, Yoshino is taking pictures and Shikaku has a lazy smirk in his face, the sky is a bright blue. Wait.... 

🍥: Yoshino-san! Shikaku-san! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!

😜: Don't mind us, We- I mean I am getting blackmail on my son

🍥: What!?

😴: Don't mind her, Naruto. She just being herself.

😜: Honey, don't you have to do a patrol around the kingdom?

🍥: Can I come? I haven't really been outside the castle besides being in the garden

😴: That's okay with me

Shikaku and Naruto leave to patrol around the castle. Everything was going great until they got to the sketchy part of the village. Shikaku and Naruto are in disguise, so people don't recognize them.

😴: Naruto, I need you to stay close to me, alright. Most people don't know you are here and probably won't recognize. This place is very sketchy.

🍥: Alright.

 Shikaku and Naruto walked around for a bit. They walked up to an abandoned house.

🍥: What do you think this was?

😴: I don't know but I think it's best if we leave it alone.

———: The name's Mai, what's your name cutie?

🍥: That's none of your concern.

Mai (🤢): Woah~ there. Who's the short one, big guy?

😴: What do you mean?

Mai: Is he like your sugar baby or something?

😴: Pardon?

Mai: Oh, he's like your son or something?

In that moment, everything froze.

😴: Naruto. Calm down. Mai, do you know who you are talking to?

Mai: Some faggot and his sugar daddy

😴: That would be incorrect

Shikaku and Naruto take off their disguises,

Mai: K-King Shikaku, I didn't mean it!!

😴: Of course, you didn't. I'm pretty lazy but I don't tolrate idiots like you, who thinks they can do whatever they please. Only I can do that, because I'm the only King here.

Mai: Yes Sir!

🍥: GUARDS!

Guards: Sir, yes, Sir. 

😴: Take him away and stripe him from any titles he may possess and take a look into his background. 

Guards: Yes, Sir.
