"We can give him small bites of everything, then he can choose which ones are his favorites." Charlie commented, and Tessa nodded.

Ana and Tiana gave Ricky small bits of everything, knowing the boy would most likely rush through all of it to try it. He was beyond excited to try all of the sweets. As soon as their hands were away from the sweets, Ricky began to pick them up one by one to taste them. They were able to tell what he liked, based on the faces he made when he tasted them.

He disliked fudge, and had actually spit it back out, causing everyone to laugh. He also disliked licorice, toffee, nougat, mint flavored sweets. His really liked almost all chocolate, especially cauldron cake. He almost cried when he was given a chocolate frog and it jumped out of the package on to the table, but when Charlie caught it for him and let him take a bite, his face lit up with a smile and he quickly shoved another bite of the chocolate frog into his mouth. He was also a rather big fan of jelly slugs, salt water taffy, sugar quills, and some of the every flavored beans. His favorite seemed to be the chocolate though, even if the frog had scared him.

"We brought a few desserts for you to try, Tessa. We're going to plate it like we did dinner, so you can try it all." Ana said, as she stood up and began to plate desserts.

She plated quite a few things, but Tessa's favorite were chocolate pumpkins and butterbeer potted cream. Ricky stole all of her apple tart, even though everyone believed he was full from all of the sweets he had been given.

Anyhow, after a bit more talking, which was mostly questions about the muggle world and how the schools worked and things like that, Charlie's friends had decided to leave since it was rather late. Once everyone had left, Tessa changed herself and Ricky back into pajamas, after she gave Ricky a bath. When Ricky was in his pajamas, he ran through the house to find Charlie.

"Nigh' nigh' time!" Ricky exclaimed, wrapping his arms around Charlie's leg.

"Goodnight, Ricky." Charlie replied, picking up the boy to bring him back to Tessa.

"Just place him in his bed. I've got to find a story book for him." Tessa said, as she dug through the box of little kid books she had near her bed.

"Oh! I have the perfect book for him. Francis brought it to me yesterday at work." Charlie commented, as he quickly left the room.

Charlie grabbed the book from his nightstand, and carried them back to Tessa and Ricky.

"Mum read us these books when we were little. I know Ricky will love them, and you might, too." Charlie said, as Tessa looked at the book.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard the front of the book read. Tessa opened the book and seen the table of contents, which she glanced over for a moment. The stories included in the book were; Babbitty Rabbitty and Her Cackling Stump, The Fountain of Fair Fortune, The Wizard and the Hopping Pot, The Warlock's Hairy Heart, and The Tale of the Three Brothers.

"Which one do you like the most?" Tessa asked, looking up at Charlie.

"The Tale of the Three Brothers was my favorite, though all of the stories are pretty interesting. The warlock story is a little darker though, so you might want to wait until Ricky's a little older before you read it to him." Charlie replied, and Tessa nodded.

"I will read the brothers first, then I'll be back out there for a while. We can talk about your family some more if you'd like." Tessa commented, causing Charlie to nod with a smile.

Tessa sat down next to Ricky's toddler bed, as she opened the story book and began to read The Tale of the Three Brothers. By the time she had finished the story, Ricky was out like a light. Tessa had enjoyed the story, even if it seemed to be a bit dark. She almost wished she had magic like Charlie, his friends, and surprisingly even her son. Closing the book, she placed it in the box with the others, before she left the bedroom and closed the door silently behind herself.

"So, what did you think?" Charlie asked, as Tessa sat down at the kitchen table.

"The story was very interesting. I was quite entertained by it, if I'm honest." Tessa replied, causing Charlie to chuckle.

"You talk too proper, Tessa. You don't have to speak like a literary scholar if you don't want to. If you talk like that in front of my brothers, you might confuse them beyond repair, other than Percy obviously." Charlie commented, and Tessa smiled lightly.

"When are you going to send a letter to your family about Ricky and I?" Tessa asked, looking over at Charlie.

Tessa hadn't wanted to stay living with Charlie, since she felt like a burden, but Charlie liked having her and her son loving with him. He told her she was more than welcome to stay with him for as long as she wanted. She didn't know when she would leave, or if she'd ever, so she never argued with him over it.

"I was thinking I could give you and Ricky a couple more days before I tell them about you." Charlie replied, and Tessa bit her lip.

"You can tell her now if you want. It's better to tell her sooner rather than later. The later you tell her, the more likely she is to be disappointed that you didn't tell her." Tessa commented, causing Charlie to nod.

"Are you sure? I don't want to push you into it." He replied, and she nodded as well.

"I'm sure. Besides, you know it's stressing you out the longer you keep it a secret." She said, causing him to chuckle.

Tessa was right, and Charlie was glad she had given him permission to tell his mother sooner than he had planned to do so...
