Vanessa's POV

I feel a slight shaking on my shoulder

"Babygirl we're here"

"Ugh"

I stand up and grab my carry on and we get off of the plane. We wait for Jack and Grace.

We all go to the baggage claim and we play a game.

We see who can spot their bag first and ride the conveyor belt until the another person finds their bag or they reach the end.

We eventually got yelled at and we left.

We spot my mum and we all drive back home and Jack and Grace go to her apartment to unpack.

I go upstairs while JJ is watching tv and I go to my room to get changed. I get changed into a blue fade sweater, jean shorts, pink converse, white beanie, camera necklace, a ear cuff, and some bracelets.

"He JJ I wanna show you something"

"Okay let's go"

"Mom we're going out!"

"Okay!"

We walk out of the house and I grab his hand.

We start walking across the culdisack

(Idk how to spell)

I'm leading him to the woods. The woods lead to a hill with flowers I used to always come here when I go bullied and when mum and dad would fight.

I lead him to the woods and over to the hill. I walk to the spot where you can see the sunset the best. And I sat down and JJ sits down next to me.

"So why are we here?"

"Well one you can see the sun set really well over here and two I used to some here when mum and dad used to fight"

"I think it's really nice here too"

The sun had just because. Summer

I just lay my head on JJ's shoulder

The sun finally sets and JJ and I walk back through the woods back into my neighborhood

It's about 8 o'clock
(Ya Ik that's not possible but shut up it goes with the story)

We decide to go to the ice cream shop a few blocks away.

I text my mom saying we're going and she replies with ok!

JJ and I walk off to the ice cream shop. We get to the shop and there are some people in there.

I had to take a second glance to realize its the girls from school who bullied me.

The head of their group and most popular girl in school, Chloe.

"Hey JJ" she says winking at him

"Umm hi"

"what are you doing with HER" she says glaring at me

"Well I'm here with Vanessa because she's my GIRLFRIEND"

"Well I think you could do so much better than her. Maybe like me"

"Or nah" I whisper

"Naw im good."

She just huffs and walks away and mutters something like. He will be mine. JJ and I order. Me ordering Chocolate chip cookie dough and him mint chocolate ice cream.

I had to go to the bathroom so I tell JJ I'm going to the bathroom and walk off.

I do what I need to do and I come back to see something I never wanted to see ever again.

JJ's POV

I never meant for any of this to happen. She looks heart broken
