The Date// Chapter 31

Vanessa's POV

We pull away and we just stare at each other.

"So Vanessa. What do you say do you want to ditch the party and go out to eat with me?"

"Right now"

"Right now" he says shaking his head

"Totally"

We walk downstairs and I text Jack saying I'm going out and we walk out to Sam's car and we drive to Taco Bell

So romantic. Jk

We get Taco Bell and we go to the park and eat our food just talking about random things

"Sam come push me" I say getting onto the swing

"Fine"

He comes over to the swing and pushes and he gets onto the other swing and swings.

We get off the swings after a while of more talking. We really do have a lot more in common than I thought.

"Thanks Sam I really needed this" I say looking into his eyes

'God I really do like him'

"No problem Vanessa. I was wondering if maybe........... Nevermind"

"Wait no tell me"

"Ok if you Vanessa Gilinsky would be my girlfriend"

"Oh My God yes!!!"

I say hugging him tightly and kissing him on the lips

"We should go back now" I say taking my hand in his

"Ok"

We walk back to the car and drive back home. My hand in his the entire time

We get back to the house and we walk in to be greeted by a pissed off Jack

"Where the hell were you guys?!??" Then his eyes travel down to our hands

"Vanessa your dating somebody already!"

"No I'm not. Well ya I am but it's Sammy not JJ"

"What?"

"He cheated on me but I'm fine so don't kill him and stay friends with him"

"Fine only because he's my best friend. So where were u and why didn't u tell me?"

"I texted you that I was going out and we just got Taco Bell and went to the park to hang out"

"Ok well night"

God he is so over dramatic sometimes.
