Summer had begun. The bugs were swarming, the heat was unbearable, and the humidity was high. Due to these three facts, the Bamily always spent their Bamily reunions in the Alaska with Great Grandparents Jake and Victoria.

"I'm so excited to see all my cousins again! Christmas was weird...." Mei exclaimed as she looked at the now white horizon through the car window.

"Agreed. Let's make this the most normal event we can!" Shelby declared.

"Yeah, right. Not with that dog in the way. It's pointless to even try." Robert exhaled.

"Stop being such a Debbie-Downer, Robert." Goggles teased at the wheel.

"Yeah, Debbie! Why are you so neggie?" Mei sang.

"My name's not Debbie! And I'm just stating the facts!" Robert exclaimed.

"Sure, the 'facts'. Come on, Robert. Everyone loves Abraham&ChickenRoast except you!" Shelby said.

"Maybe if his name wasn't such a mouthful, I'd be a little more open to the idea." Robert grumbled.

"Mehbeh if hus name wasn't such a mouthful, I'duh be a little more uhpun to the iduh." Shelby imitated Robert poorly, complete with 'talk too much' hand gestures, "Jeez, Robert. Do you even hear yourself? You're getting into names? Think about the personality! Look at him, he's so rich in personage!" Shelby pointed at Abraham&ChickenRoast, who was panting heavily and had a few gnats buzzing around his ears.

"I think he's drooling a bit." Robert sighed, reverting his line of sight back to the car window. "Can't we just have a normal dog?"

"Normal..... What IS a normal dog, exactly?" Celeste inquired.

"Well, a dog that doesn't...... That..... That doesn't....." Robert stuttered.

"Exactly! Normal doesn't exist with dogs!" Mei exclaimed excitedly.

"My point. Get. Rid. Of. The. Dog." Robert declared.

"No!" Shelby and Mei screamed at the same time.

"However, you are right about one thing. We really need a nickname for this dog!" Mei decided.

"Agreed. We'll come up with one soon but right now, I want you kids to be on your best behavior. We're at your Great Grandparents' house and you know how hectic it can get here. Best behavior." Goggles instructed.

"Yes Dad!" Shelby, Mei, and Robert exclaimed.

Their car jolted to a stop as two of their distant cousins ran in front of the vehicle.

"Claire! Be a little more careful, okay honey? We almost didn't see you!" Samantha yelled out the car window.

The young girl stopped,"Yes, Mrs. Samantha!"

"Yay! Claire's here!" Mei exclaimed.

"Claire?" Shelby inquired.

"It's a looooong story but basically she's my mother's sister's son's best friend's long-lost sister." Mei explained.

"Okay?" Robert replied confused.

"Welcome, my beautiful grandchild Celeste!" Great Grandmother Victoria greeted as Goggles opened all of the car doors.

"Hi, Great Grandmama!" Shelby screamed.

"Ah! My dearest Shelby! My! How you've grown!" Victoria praised as she hugged Shelby with all of her might. She turned her attention to Robert, "And who might this be? Well, certainly not my grandson, Robert! I remember you used to have such chubby baby cheeks!" Victoria squealed as she pinched his face.
