A Simple Request

        Hello reader, and welcome to the internet. Featuring words and virtual paper. Now I want you to look long and hard (hue hue) about what I’m about to say to you; the majority of you who are constantly troubled by the apparent universal problem of boredom. Now I know what you’re thinking. “Oh this story is boring these words are boring, I’m going to go whine about it-“NO! SHUT-THE -FUCK -UP! Ever think that the problem is not boredom or the other people around you? Perhaps the problem is your brain and its small capacity of focus and creativity. It’s not your fault, it’s completely not your fault. Its your brain’s fault for being bad at keeping you entertained.

        Did you know that your brain is the greatest tool at your disposal? It’s an amazing thing really, it has entertained trillions for generations, paving the way for revolutionary entertainment like drama/theatrics, games, literature, even the frowned upon pleasure of pornography.  It’s absolutely the best toy anyone could have, appropriate for all ages and sexes. If anything could be more perfect I’d have to say it would be a slinky.

        With such an amazing toy in your skull, how are you still bored? You are surrounded by entertainment right in front of your eyes. (Which I must add are connected directly to your brain) All there is to do is go out there and reach for it. Go find a hobby, think of ways you can benefit the world, go find a dead body, murder chickens with a mace, I don’t care. As long as you can realize the idiocy in the concept of boredom and infuriation it brings to those around you who may feel as though they are failing to entertain you.
        Take a date for example, you’re out with a nice girl/boy/other (if you’re into animals or something). Now imagine that you are trying your best to make it a fun date. You’re buying them food, holding their hand, making flirtatious jokes or even just basic conversation about how your day went, and this person you are out with cares nothing for your feelings enough to lie and say, “I am having so much fun with you right now”.  Not a good feeling huh? Now imagine your hypothetical date is your best friend, or your mother, or even a group of strangers who did nothing to you but try to make you laugh. (Unless its bullying because apparently that’s some kind of BIG DEAL)

        So to sum this up and go play Smite on this PC, I’m asking you all to please, stop being bored. Its not too much to ask, I’m not asking for the cure to cancer here. Just entertain your thoughts (or your thots) and make life a little more interesting, no matter what, where or when. It will most certainly prove to be a valuable trait.
