As I lay in my bed I can't help but think of what Henry said, about me replacing someone? Could he have meant.. no no, we weren't like significant others or anything... I mean, he is a fairly attractive man, with his tall, thin figure and his dark well-kept hair. And those piercing silver eyes, the way he always looked at me with those dreamy eyes.

-What was I saying? He was my boss, acquaintance nothing else. But I couldn't help but acknowledge how absolutely stunning this man is, I guess I really hadn't thought of him that much as I was just worried about getting work done and getting well. What was Henry even thinking? Such an ignorant assumption, though, I didn't hate the idea. I sunk into my covers pondering about Henry's words as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I awoke to William's deep, gentle voice, "Y/." his voice was so smooth and rich. As I opened my eyes I blushed slightly, the sight of him affirming what I had thought of him the night before. His eyes shimmered in the sunlight that beamed from the window beside my bed. "Get ready, we have to open up the pizzeria soon."

I nodded, "Of course, I'll come out soon." He gently shut the door and I began getting ready. I put my uniform on and began fixing my hair. I went into the bathroom connected to my room brushed my teeth, and washed my face. I really wanted to look good, I'm not sure why, it's not like I had anyone to impress.

I stepped out of my room to see William waiting in the hallway in front of my room, looking deep in thought. He didn't even seem to see me till I spoke, "I'm ready to go." I said.

His head popped up like I scared him. He wore a goofy expression as when he heard my voice, his expression softened as soon as he saw me. He smiled, "You kinda snuck up on me, scared me a bit." he said in a lighthearted tone

He wore a gray suit, reminiscent of his eyes. And a black tie, but it was kinda messily done I don't think he noticed. "William, your tie is kinda, um. Here, I'll just-" I got closer to him and began to fix his tie, as I did, my eyes darted up to him every now and then.

I got done with his tie, I still kinda holding onto it as I got lost in his eyes. My stomach ached as I looked into his metallic-toned eyes. We drifted closer as both our faces began to flush red.

Until a girl's voice shouted "Daddy!!" it was Elizabeth. William mumbled something to himself, cleared his throat and we quickly backed away from each other.

"Hey sweetie, what are you doing up so early?" William questioned, with a slightly irritated tone.

"Don't you remember! Charlie was coming over today!" The small girl remarked. Kinda weird, why would she have a friend over on a weekday?

William leant down to her, "That's Saturday, seems you've mistaken the date." He stroked her wavy red hair before getting back up.

"Oh, okay daddy bye-bye!" She hugged him before leaving back to her room.

William sighed, "Guess we should go then." I nodded and we got into his car.

The drive was once again silent, leaving me to ponder in my thoughts. Why did William look so flushed back then, it made me so nervous. Wait, were we about to- "Hungry?" William asked interrupting my thoughts.

I looked in his direction kinda confused like the question wasn't simple enough. "Do you wanna go get breakfast, Y/N?" he chuckled at my confusion

"Oh sure, but won't we be late?" I questioned, I was genuinely confused as he acted like we had to be on time exactly.

"It doesn't really matter, I run the place you know." He insisted, I suppose he had a point.

I agreed and he changed paths to go to a nearby cafe, on the ride I found myself lost in thought.
