Chapter 11 Lets Build a Fort

RILEYS POV

I woke up in my bed and look out the window seeing the sun.

It bothered my eyes at first but then I grab my phone, going on social media until my eyes adjust.

While I was on my phone, I remember that Wes told me to text him today when I was up.

I go to my messages and send a text to the group chat we have with Taylor, Drew, Summer, Keaton, Tyler, me and Wes.

Hey Guys, hope ya'll aren't busy today....pool day at Wes, Drew and Keats place? -R

Yup, I'll be there -Tay

Time to turnn upp -Tyler

Everyone replied with a yes.
So it's settled; we're having a pool day at Wes's today with the entire squad.

If we were going there at noon, that only gives me an hour to get ready and be there.

I roll out of my bed and hit the floor. It was cold so I hopped up as fast as possible and went down to the kitchen.

I went through the fridge and grabbed all the strawberries and a chocolate bar from the cupboard and put it into a glass jar and stick it in the microwave.

Once the chocolate was melted, I sat down at the island and ate all the strawberries dipped in chocolate.

When I was done, I set the dish in the sink and walked back upstairs.

I go into my bathroom and brush my teeth, then use mouthwash.

I go to my closet and look through the box with all my swim suits.

I end up picking and teal blue bikini and throw over a tank top and some shorts.

I go back to the bathroom and brush out my naturally straight hair and throw it into a messy bun.

I grab my makeup bag and pull out the water proof mascara and put it on just to look a bit more awake.

Once I'm done, I walk out and grab my blue flip flops and look for a hat.

I couldn't find one I wanted to wear, so I went over to Talon's room to steal one of his.

I walk into his room and he was sleeping like a potato on his bed.

I start looking through his hat selection and felt something big hit head.

I whip around and saw that Talon threw a pillow at me.

"Get out."

"Someone woke up in the wrong side of the bed."

"No, this someone was rudely waken up extremely early in the morning. Get the hell out."

"It's not early, it's 11:45."

"GET.OUT. LEAVE. NOW!"

"Jeez"
I mumble, grab the hat I want and run out of his room.

I've learned over the past year that Talon stays up half the night and likes to sleep half the day. It's annoying af.

I walk downstairs and grab some towels and hop into my car.
