nate's pov

isabella and i were texting all night last night.  i really got to know her more and i feel like she opened up to me.  i knew that she liked me already, and i like her as well, so i'm definitely going to make a move soon.  i just want us to both be comfortable around each other before we start dating, or at least until i ask.

i didn't have work today and i know isabella wasn't scheduled to dye her hair for another three months or so, which means that we wouldn't see each other at the hair salon that often.

i was going to be hanging with a few of my buddies today, while my dad wasn't making me go to work.

speaking of my friends, i heard my phone buzz in it's charger, signaling that i had a text message.  i grabbed it off the nightstand and checked it.

from jared corver: hey, nate.  the boys and i are about to leave for sharky's, you leaving soon?

to jared corver: i'm about to leave.  see you in a few

i locked my phone and checked the time, and when i realized i only had a few minutes to drive there, i ran out the door as fast as i could.

-

"hey, it's nate!" another one of my friends, will, yelled, causing the rest of the table to look up at me.

i smiled and sent them a head nod, sitting down on the only empty spot in the booth.  i wasn't really hungry, so i declined their offers to order something.  i simply picked at the bowl of french fries in the middle of the table.

"so, what's new with you, bro?" jared asked.

"nothing much, man.  same old, same old.  i met a girl though, and she's a baddie." i smirked, looking down at the table.

he wolf-whistled and alex laughed, as they asked me to explain.

follow my ig if you wanna be a good friend yall !
