i have a lot of exams this week so worse and less frequent updates, and also read the authors note

isabella's pov

"bella, damn! your hair looks good," nate smiled, leaning back to put emphasis on his words.

"i know." i said simply, flipping my hair jokingly.

i moved back into the reception area of the hair salon while we were still talking. i quickly said bye to melissa and thanked her, so that nate and i could leave.

"the dye is on your deposit, right?" he asked, typing something into the large desktop computer. i nodded.

"okay, well then i guess we can go now. let's hit up the mall, yeah?"

"sure, i'm cool with whatever, wherever you're going," i said as i grabbed his hand.

nate pretended to roll his eyes, and then kissed my cheek. since he was so much taller than me, he had to lean down. after, we walked out to the doors of the salon and left, heading in the direction of his car.

"nate!" i called from inside the dressing room.

i peeked my head out and saw him look up from his phone. he nodded his head at me.

"yeah, baby?"

"can you come in here for a second? i don't know which dress to buy."

i opened the h&m dressing room door a little wider for nate to walk in. i turned around once i closed the door to let him see the dress.

it was a black lace dress, that was strapless. nate seemed to really like it by the way i saw his eyes take in my outfit.

"should i get this one? i don't know..." i trailed off, running a hand through my hair.

i didn't get a vocal response, instead, i felt lips on my neck, right above the neckline of the dress.

"so, i'll take that as a yes?" i laughed, putting my hands in his hair.

he hummed in response against my body.
