Pure Bliss

Its been 9 alnost 10 months since Tom and Cassy found out she was pregnant. Theyve also decided to wait to find out what it is until she gives birth. Since she is anemic and her blood is thin they have informed them that she may need a blood transfusion and to have that person in the room if its not Tom who has the same blood type as her. Baby is healthy and measuring just right. Cassy now looks like she has a basketball under her shirt. Her hair somehow thicker and her skin looks healthier. Both of them are in their own classes teaching right now. Luckily the classes are about to end. The bell rings and Tom is already standing up and making his way to Cassy.

"Hey Mister Hiddleston, Miss Hiddleston seemed like she was uncomfortable today." A young man from her class says as he walks out as he walks in.

"Okay thank you Finn." Tom says as he looks above the students coming out and sees her sitting down. Tom makes it through them and walks over to her.

"Have you taken your prenatals and your iron pills?" He asks kneeling down next to her.

"Yeah, my lower back is just killing me." She says as she lays her head down. Opening her legs so her large belly can fit. Tom begins to rub her lower back.

"Oh god thank you." She says as a look of relief comes across her face. This whole pregnancy has been scary. They also found out because of her tendency to have seizures when shes over stressed and hot they cant give her any pain medication when she is in labor. They dont feel safe giving it to her. If she has a seizure when they are putting the needle in for an epidural it could paralyze her. Nubane is a possibility since it goes through an IV but its not super effective.

"Youre nearly 37 weeks....could you be experiencing braxton hicks contractions?" Tom asks.

"Maybe...i have an appointment at 12." She says.

"My next class isnt until 130 so we can go ahead and head out if you want." He tells her. Cassy nods and sits up. Bracing herself on her desk as she gets up. Tom grabs her hand and they walk out. Luckily students mive put of the way when shes walking the halls so theres no issue with that. They make it to the car and Tom opens her door. He runs to his side and gets in and starts the car. Cassy laying back holding her belly. Almost falling asleep. Tom turns on the heated seats and it even heats the back of the seat.

"Oh that feels amazing." She says laughing. Tom chuckles and backs up and then heads to their doctors office. Within minutes they arrive and he helps her out and in. Tom checks them in as she sits down. Tom sits next to her and they wait.

"I cant believe we are this close..." Tom says excitedly.

"I know, its wild. Im excited....but nervous." She tells him.

"My mother said that im A positive. Which means i can give you blood if you need the transfusion." He tells her.

"Awesome, how is your mother?" She asks.

"Good, very excited. She plans on them flying back to the states when little one arrives." He tells her.

"Oh nice! I miss your mom." She says chuckling. Tom loves the relationship Cassy and His mother have. They video chat all the time. Cassy taught his mother how to video chat and even when his mother was getting frustrated sith it she managed to keep a calm tone and work with her. Even make her laugh.

"She misses you too darling."he says leaning in and kissing her cheek.

"Mrs.Hiddleston?" A nurse calls out. Tom and Cassy get up and follow her. They go into a room and he helps her up on the table.

"So Mrs.Hiddleston...how are we today..." she asks.

"Okay...i think im having braxton hicks contractions.." she tells the nurse.
