Korn was looking for Wai everywhere. It seemed like the boy was hiding. He even looked under the cars of the professors!

Just when he was about to give up, he was swung to a corner as a hand covered his mouth.

"Shh, it's me, Wai!" The kidnapper whispered loudly to Korn, "Don't make too much noise!"

Korn pushed Wai's hand away, gently as he whispered back, "Why? What's happening?"

The two were too close, almost seemed like they were hugging. A shyness crept on Wai's face and he quickly hid his face on Korn's shoulder, pretending to be tired.

Korn was frozen by Wai's sudden action. He could feel the architecture boy's breath on his neck.

"Hoi..." He said, softly as he gently held Wai, "What the hell happened?"

Wai sighed. "My ex is looking for me everywhere. I don't know where else can I go to escape now," He said, grabbing Korn's engineering jacket and pulling himself away, giving them enough space.

Korn nodded understandably. "Your ex wants you to give her a second chance or what?" He asked, as quiet as possible.

Wai nodded. "Hm. We broke up on bad terms so she wasn't willing to accept it," He said.

Just when he finished talking, he heard footsteps running around.

"Wai! Where are you?"

Wai slightly gasped as he pulled Korn closer to him. "Shh! That's her," He whispered.

Korn stumbled a bit and quickly supported himself by putting his hands beside Wai, holding onto the wall.

The corner where they were hiding at wasn't big, it was around 5 to 6 feet so both of them couldn't really pull away from each other.

Wai looked around carefully for a bit before realising that his ex finally went away.

"Phew, she is gon-" As soon as he turned towards Korn, the first thing he saw was the really short distance between them.

It feels just like that night in the car...

Wai cowered himself a bit and said, "Um, sorry for dragging you here like this."

"Hm, don't worry too much," Korn exclaimed, pulling back a bit.

The two stayed in silence for a decent moment, not knowing what to say until the architecture boy finally broke it.

"Pat and Pran must be waiting for us. We should leave before my ex comes back," Wai said, fidgeting a bit.

"Right,"

They managed to get back to the faculty without bumping into Wai's ex.

"Are you two playing detectives?" Pat asked as soon as he saw Korn and Wai walking towards them.

"Ah, shh! We are trying to run away from my ex-Heli?!"

Just when Wai and Korn came nearer, they saw Wai's ex, Heli, sitting there with the rest.

Heli was wearing a short skirt with her shirt tucked in it as a long blazer covered her back.

"Well, well~" She said, taking off her sunglasses, "Hello, Wai." She smiled sweetly at him.
