Korn slammed the front door of the house. The house nearly trembled because of the noise, despite of its size. Korn's anger was unmeasured. He barged into his father's office with huge steps.

“Ko! Take it easy! What happened?“ Dawn was startled by Korn's sudden entry. He got up from his chair and walked across the table, facing Korn.

Korn nearly scoffed at his father's pretense. His father could pass as an actor at this rate. “Don't pretend like you don't know. Where is P'Aou?“

Dawn sucked in a deep breath. His eyes closed for a moment, trying to calm himself down in front of his son.

“Ko, try to understand. Whatever I'm doing is for his best.“

Dawn placed his hand on top of Korn's shoulder. It was an instinct, something that he believed could make Korn understand.

However, Korn pushed the hand away in anger. He couldn't believe his ears at all. “Seriously, Dad? For his best? You're separating P'Aou and his boyfriend apart and you say, it is for his best?“

Dawn felt helpless. He tried his best to make his son understand his point of view but it all seemed to go in vain.

“Dad, is your ego really more important than your own son's happiness? Do you value money that much?“ Korn lashed out.

KNOCK KNOCK
Korn and Dawn turned towards the door. It was Lay, one of the servants, standing there, his hand still touching the surface of the door.

Korn was flabbergasted by the attire of Tao. He was wearing a full on black suit. “P'Lay.? What are you doing here? I thought the helpers had a day off today.“

“Korn, listen carefully to what I'm about to tell you. Lay, come here,” Dawn moved away, letting Lay to stand beside him.

“…”

Dawn walked towards his drawer, pulled out a bunch of pictures and gave them to Korn. “Look at this first, and then I'll tell you.“

Korn was confused. As he turned around the pictures, he gasped. His eyes widened in shock, ruffling through the pictures frantically.

The pictures consisted of Fuse and Aou. From the moment they first met, to yesterday, on the rooftop where Wai and Korn escaped. Each one of them had a date to it.

2014, May 8th — Fuse and Aou, both sixteen years old, coming out of their class, hand in hand.

2014, July 10th — Fuse and Aou, still sixteen years old, rolling their skates down in the park, laughing together.

2014, September 25th — Fuse was crying while Aou hugged him.

No private moments were kept. Each one of them exposed their personal lives.

One picture caught Korn's attention the most. A picture of a moment that he was always curious of but never really learnt anything much about it.

2018, July 31th — Aou and Fuse fighting, both being held back by people Korn didn't know. It seemed to be a very serious fight between them.

“That's when they broke up, at my insistence.“

Korn's face was soon turned to be a look of hatred and disgust. “Where did you get these pictures? Did you stalk them?“

“No, of course not! These pictures were sent to me by some unknown source. They were being stalked, and they still are,” Dawn revealed.

Korn's hands shook. “Stalked? By who?“ He was worried.

Lay took a step forward as an initiative to take the conversation on him. “The Wang Group. They have a long term rivalry with your father, both professional and personal. Thus, they have been stalking your brother through Fuse Jitaraphol because he is your father's weakness.“
