"Come on!" Winter whispered, guiding Robin towards the back of the movie theatre. He scrunched up his face in disgust as they slide their way into the back alley and past the full, smelly dumpsters.
"You know I really don't mind just paying for a ticket." Robin whispered loudly.
"That takes all the fun out of it." Winter smirked. They made it to the very back of the building and stood outside the back door.
"Are you sure they'll let us in?" Robin asked. He clearly wasn't comfortable with being snuck into a movie theatre.
Winter waved her hand dismissively. "You worry too much. Do something bad for once, will you?"
Robin pouted. "I do bad things all the time."
Winter raised an eyebrow. "Yeah? Like asking for a water cup and filling it with soda?"
"No, that's practically stealing! If-"
Winter cut him off by banging on the door.
"Winter!" He hissed her name, looking around the alleyway like the police were going to show up. "Don't be so-"
The door opened to reveal Winter's little sister, who was a spitting image of her. They both had their mother's crystal blue eyes and dark hair, but Spring's hair was cut short in a shaggy pixie cut while Winter's was almost down to her waist.
"Hey, Spring." Winter said casually. Her sister sighed.
"If I get fired for this, I'm gonna kick your ass." Spring deadpanned, opening the door all the way to let them in.
Winter smiled and slipped through the door, Robin behind her.
"This is Robin." Winter said, pointing towards the boy behind her. Robin gave her a small wave.
"Whatever." Spring said, turning away and began to lead them through the back. She peered through the cracked door that lead into the main lobby.
"Okay, my manager isn't looking." Spring whispered. She opened the door just enough so they could slip through, and ushered them past.
"Thanks-"
The door was shut behind them. Robin's gaze was fixated on the door they had just snuck through, labeled: EMPLOYEES ONLY. He turned towards Winter.
"Well, that was...is your sister always like that?" Robin asked.
Winter cocked an eyebrow. "Rude and hostile?"
Robin nodded.
"Yeah, pretty much."
There was a beat of silence between the two.
"I want to be her best friend." Robin said.
Winter cracked a smile.
"So, what movie do you wanna see?"
