It's been weeks since Beth and Cole had moved in with Aaron and a lot has changed since then, Beth although still feeling so many emotions is finally feeling somewhat content with everything.

Each day that passes she feels a little more like her old self again.. She smiles more and cries less and thanks to Aaron she's not alone in this..

Beth had thought living here would be awkward and weird and it was at first but after a few days her and Aaron just clicked, it had started when Aaron came into the kitchen late one night and found Beth cuddled up on the floor crying, Aaron quickly ran to her side and brought her close to him and whispered sweet nothings to help her calm down.. When Beth finally calmed down she was finally able to explain to him that she didn't remember coming into the kitchen at all, she just remembered waking up thinking so much depressing stuff and just broke. They stayed curled up together for god knows how long as they let out every emotion they both felt. They have been super close since and Beth enjoyed having a best friend again.. Its weird how it all worked out Beth had thought over and over again but in the end shed just smile.

of course she still had problems with James, he couldn't seem to leave her alone, saying how sorry he was and he didn't mean it, it was almost comical Beth had thought every time he tried to wiggle his way back into her life.. she couldn't thank Aaron enough for all he has done for her and cole she knew if it wasn't for him shed probably be crawling back to James pathetically..

"you okay babes" Aaron said making his way into Beths room watching as she sat on the edge of her bed looking at her phone

"i'm fine" she replied dryly and Aaron knew her well enough to know she was anything but fine. he made his way into the room and sat beside her before pulling her into a hug.

"its okay not to be okay you know" Aaron laughed

"its just the first weekend since all this happened that i wont have Cole, i just miss him already and its only been a few hours" Beth explained feeling a little embarrassed

"i understand but this is a good thing too babes, you haven't had any adult time at all since all this.. you know my brothers coming home today maybe we should all go out?" Aaron asked her while giving her a tight squeeze of encouragement.

"are you sure that the best way of telling your brother i'm now living here with my son should be brought up in a bar" Beth laughed a real laughing for the first time since Cole left

"he already knows silly, he's not to happy about it but says its fine"

"that's reassuring" Beth laughed again while nudging Aaron in the side

"hey!" he hissed

"seriously its fine Beth, you know i wouldn't have offered if it wasn't" he said seriously

Beths felt her heart strings pull at how genuinely sweet he was.

"do you mind if my brother comes, he just went through a break up and i think he would appreciate a little adult time" Beth asked thinking about how since he came home from his trip he hasn't left his bed

"of course" Aaron smiled at her showing his pearly whites before sliding off the bed and making his way towards the door

"Aaron" Beth said softly

"thank you, for everything!" she told him after he turned to look at her

"without you i don't think i could have got over this, its funny isn't it?" she gave him a crooked smile

.............

"well how do i look?" Beth asked nervously making her way into Aaron's room

"my god Beth your hair!" Aaron said shocked
