A'leah

I was at the studio with August, listening to his new single FML. Just seeing him in his element doing what he does best made me smile.

He had been working hard since we been here. And of course, the kids and I were right by his side supporting him every step of the way.

"Miracle look at daddy." I pointed at the glass. August made a fishy face which made her bounce in my arms.

August had been signed to Def Jam for almost six months and all he's done is interviews and a few small appearances. We decided that it was time to push for his first album.

Marlon agreed with his decision and started to put a soundtrack together of music August had recorded previously with Stone.

"You sounding real good Yung. We gone start again from the top aight?" August nodded.

"Aight, coo." I blew August a few kisses before sitting on the sofa with the twins.

Let me tell you bout my self, I'm not scared to die

Been through so much shit, sometimes I wanna be in the sky

Wanna know how it feels to fly, wanna know how it feels to fly

Scared of hello, ain't scared of goodbye

I never thought I would be here, I never thought I would get this far

If they say life's like a beach chair, why am I sitting in the dark

Sometimes I just feel like, fuck my life

Fuck my life

Even when I'm up I'm feeling down

Fuck my life

Got niggas locked up or underground

Fuck my life, fuck my life

Sometimes I just feel like, fuck my life
Fuck my life, fuck my life

I remember when August wrote this song when our lights were turned off. He'd was so frustrated and even thought about committing suicide because he was tired of hitting dead ends.

He always told me I was his miracle. I kept him sane, and without me he couldn't live. I smiled and gave him a thumbs up.

"This is a bad ass record August, come on out." Marlon directed.

August set the headphones on the stand and came out of the booth wrapping his arms around me. I giggled as he lifted me into the air.

"Babe put me down." I giggled.

"Nope." He said while popping the 'p'.

He kissed all over my face and set me down smacking my ass. I shook my head and sat back on the couch. Good thing the twins are sleep.

"Are you excited to be starting your album?" I smiled. He nodded.

"Of course mama. You's my inspiration fa' sho'."

"I don't mean to ruin yall little love fest but we do have business to pertain to." Marlon butted in. I apologized to him before cutting my eyes at August.

"So Yung, you already got five songs recorded so far. I wanna put four more tracks on there and your album will be complete. Did you have a name in mind yet fa' your album?" Marlon asked.

"Testimony." I smiled.

"I love it baby." I cheesed.
