BROOKLYN, NY📍"SHE LIKE THE WAY THAT I DANCE
SHE LIKE THE WAY THAT I MOVE
SHE LIKE THE WAY THAT I ROCK
SHE LIKE THE WAY THAT I WOO"There was a crowd formed around the whole living room area with three guys trying to get sturdy to pop smoke. Phone flashlights were out and several people were recording.
"She like the way that grrrr" Sierra growled. She too was filming the guys getting sturdy.
"I'm gonna get more drink" Diamond shouted to Sierra over the loud music.
"Ok" Sierra nodded her head.
'She's wasted" Monique shook her head aa she watched Diamond walk on shaky legs.
"Yeah she is but she's gonna be fine. She had it rough these past few weeks."
"How come?" Monique scrunched up her eyebrows.
"Its for her to tell not me" Sierra shrugged her shoulders.
"So.....her and Xavier are close?" Monique raised one of her eyebrows.
"Yeah they go way back in highschool."
"Oh really?" Monique dry laughed.
"Oh Xavier didn't tell you?" Sierra gave her a weird look.
"No I just saw them texting a while ago and-"
"Wait you saw Diamond texting Xavier?" Sierra asked.
"Yeah when you went to use the bathroom, why?"
"Of course" Sierra scoffed rolling her eyes. "Probably why she been drinking so much" she thought to herself.
"Wait what don't I know about her and Xavier?" Monique asked feeling left out.
"Look I can't tell you. It's their business"
Monique dry laughed and walked off to go find Diamond and confront her about it.
Diamond pushed passed several people before she stumbled into the kitchen where all the alcohol were lined in a row on the island.
Her vision was blurry and her head got a bit woozy which caused her to trip over heels. Before she fell a pair of hands caught her and straightened her upright.
"Hey you ok there ma?" a lightskin nigga asked with concern on his face.
"Yea I'm alright" Diamond mumbled holding on to his arm to steady herself.
"How much you had to drink?" he asked.
Diamond searched her head for any recollection of the memory. "I don't know"
Her goal tonight was to flush all her problems out in hopes of forgetting they ever existed, but it wasn't working because she had been secretly texting Xavier all night to see if Alex was doing well.
"I'd say too much" the guy answered. He took the red solo cup out her hand and went to the sink to fill it up with some water.
Diamond leaned on the counter pulling out her phone. Xavier still haven't responded to the five text messages she sent since arriving at the party.
