Nia calmly sipped her tea as she overlooked the city skyline before her. "Well, have they finished their tussle..?"

Cthugha sighed as he brought another tray with a tea pot on it and set it down on the table next to Nia's armchair in the hotel suite's main living room.  "Well, I suppose that assassin of Akira's went home happy, so I'm guessing he survived."

"Good, he wouldn't be much of a hero if he couldn't defeat a simpleton like Betty." said Nia. "Honestly though... I think he might've gone a bit overboard introducing an Ultimate to someone like that."

"Personally I think it well founded." said Cthugha as he poured Nia some more tea.  "Pavarti Kumar was almost killed off.

"Hmmm..  perhaps.. But Pavarti.. the more I think about the truth behind her power, the more I start to realize how much less of a risk it might be if only the six we have united now hold the burden of our hopes. Pavarti.. she's such an unknown."  Nia muttered.

"Ahem!"

The door flipped open as a sour looking Ophelia stepped in, her arms folded. "You know you could help, seeing as you KNEW what was happening and didn't bother to wake us up when Ben and Pavarti were in trouble!"

"Call it an instructor's willingness to let her little students learn on their own and soar to new heights." said Nia with a mischievous smile. "Just be glad its me out here and not Prankster. He would've given somebody a Super Nova Wedgie by now.."

"T-Twilight Prankster!? You know him!?" Ophelia narrowed her eyes. "Ugh.. n-nevermind. Either way you could've at least warned us."

Ophelia looked back in the bedroom behind her, where Ben and Pavarti were both seated on the bed.

Pavarti was covering her chest, pink in the face as Erice stuck bandages and tied some gauze around her bare chest.

"Ow! ow ow!" Ben grumbled as Hanzo stuck something on his back. "What the heck man!? Just stick a bandaid on it!"

"Y-yeah! I feel a real HUGE burning sensation after you stuck that stuff on me too!" squealed Pavarti as Erice put another bandage on a spot where Hanzo had put.. something. "IT STINGS!!!"

"It's an ancient remedy from my homeland." said Hanzo. "Magic stings, but it heals ya quick, and I'd rather that happen given its confirmed that even while Dragfeld's confining him, Akira's still got agents on the outside. Shit, I didn't think he'd progressed in creating super humans like THAT."

"Yeah, Black Betty looks like she had tech from Pavarti's world for quite a while, but Pavarti, how long were you here for?"

"Um.. tough to say. But not more than a year I can tell you that." Pavarti muttered. "I didn't keep count or anything. But.. it makes sense, because father was here before I got here. I didn't even lose my memory or anything. I was just in my world one day, and then here the next."

"Whatever deal Shub made with your father- it's disturbing to me." said Nia, stroking her chin. "I can't imagine for what purpose she'd be letting your father do what he's been doing, as well as share his super human secrets with Akira for what I suspect might've been years given the records of how many Radiant War Heroes those agents have contended against.

"I mean you're Nyarlathotep the most cunning of the Eldritch Pantheon." said Ophelia. "You must have some idea."

"I have many theories, each as likely as the next. The problem with Shub Niggurath is also why she never gained much notoriety aside from being the sex god and the wife of Yog Sothoth. " said Nia. "She's an enigma. Her motives aside from entertaining herself can be a bit confusing.  Yog Sothoth and my more famous brethren are at least cut and dry in spite of being overly vast in the face of mortals. Yog does everything on a basis of curiosity and a need to know things. Its why he rarely does anything anymore, he knows everything thanks to his omnipresence and omniscience. Probably only a matter of time before he puts himself to sleep and becomes like Azathoth, accidentally dreaming up a new Universe."
