I sat at fezcos shop running it for the day while he had business to take care of.
Ash was in the back doing the same thing he does everyday.
That's when Nate Jacobs pulled into the lot with one of his friends in the truck.
"What are you doing here Ketz?"
"what do you want Nate?"
"Ashtray in the back?"
"Yeah."
Nate walked to the back and ash didn't look very happy to see him.
From what I know Fezco is usually the one to deal with Nate.
Which would make sense considering Nate tries to stay lowkey about it.
Nate walked out of the back shoving something into his pocket.
"See you around Katz."
Me and Nate went way back. Family friends I guess you could say. We're only a few months apart and our parents had been good friends since high school. That led me and Nate hanging out almost every weekend when our parents would go out together. Of course when we were little we got along fine but as we got older we grew apart and our hatred for each other grew bigger. There wasn't a lot to hate Nate for just that he was a douche.

I dropped ash off at his house later that day and headed home.
Being at home was fine but my parents were never really home and I didn't like the feeling of being alone all the time.
That's why I spent most of my time at fezcos place.
Fezco and Ash felt like actual family.
My parents were on some business trip which meant I had the house to myself for the week.
