"Okay, fine, I will take the punishment."

"That's my girl!" He whispered with an evil smirk and nodded his head to his guards, to which they let free that little girl and that tied man.

A small smile formed on my face which was bright. Suddenly, I felt a small figure wrapping her hands around me. I looked down and saw her hugging me. I bent down and kissed her cheek.

"Hey, baby!" I whispered, softly.

"Thank you..."

"Your welcome, dear!"

"I love you, You are so great!" She mumbled slowly.

I chuckled softly and slowly looked up at him. Robert was looking at us with different emotions in his eyes. Huh, no... no I don't understand his state. He really... plays with my mind.

"Okay, just go now!" I said to her softly. She nodded and turned around to leave but stopped and looked at Robert and then suddenly, hugged him.

"Thank you!" Her soft voice melted my heart.

Robert was surprised but didn't react. I held his hand and softly nodded my head.

"Please, at least don't ignore her. Don't show that grumpy nature of yours." I said and he looked at me and then looked at her. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Hey, baby! You can go now! Was I too harsh?" He bends down on his knees and held her little hands.

Woah! Woah! Am I dreaming? Robert? Robert William? He is being soft. Okay, being soft with a little girl.

"No! You are so good, thank you... R-R-R... Rob..." She was not able to say his name! Cute!

He slowly smiled. Oh shit! His smile!

Woah, man! What's new in him?
His smile. It's so rare and beautiful like a precious gift. It was indeed an unforgettable smile because for a second my heart begged me to tell him to smile like that to me too. Was I being selfish? For craving a smile? But come on, Robert Williams is smiling. It was definitely... a girl-dazzling smiling. I gulped hard as I heard him say. "It's Robert, okay?" He said.

"Rob... Robert?" She finally said and when she realized that she had to succeed, she laughed.

"Now go and take care! Your dad must be waiting, darling!" He said and let go of her hands.

Dude, he is so heartless, yet he feels.

"Bye, thank you again!" She said and waved her hand to him, he did pass a small smile to her and she ran out of the house in no time. The guards left the hall and in no time, there was no one but Robert and me. 

He is so good with children! Must say that! I have never seen him in such a good way! He was not angry, he was not fake. He was genuine, his smile was genuine! He was different today!

My thoughts automatically came to an end when I felt a hand over mine!

"Now your turn! Did you forget about the punishment?"

How did he change in a minute?

"R-R... Robert, you were the one who was soft with... with... with --" I stuttered.

"With -- her, not you!" He said rudely.

"But --"

"What but, Kaitlyn? You can't take a back, right?" He smirked.
