chapter seventeen

"Good morning handsome man." Vinnie heard, peaking his eyes open to see Aaliyah in her white silk night gown holding his son who was making grabby hands at her.

"You want a bottle?" Aaliyah asked, swaying softly with him.

Kaiser made a noise, wiping his nose a couple times and then playing with the strand of hair that dangled down against his arm.

"I'll make you a bottle. What do you say we let daddy and sissy sleep a little longer?" Aaliyah said quietly so she didn't wake Vinnie or Bear, who had insisted on sleeping between the two adults after having a nightmare.

"Wake up sleeping beauties." Aaliyah said as she shook Vinnie softly and Kaiser scooted on his butt to repeatedly slap Bear to wake her up.

"Kaiser don't hit me. I'm awake." Bear grumbled making the baby giggle. "Dad get your kid." Bear groaned and stomped off for the bathroom to brush her hair and wait for Vinnie to start her a bath.

"She's feisty." Aaliyah giggled, smiling when Vinnie sat up in bed and wrapped his arms around Aaliyah, cupping her butt in his hands which made her squeal.

"She always has been." Vinnie responded in his deep morning voice, making Aaliyah swoon.

"You look good in these jeans." Vinnie said, running his hands over the material.

"Thank you." Aaliyah bent down and kissed his cheek.

Even though they'd kissed once they weren't trying to rush their second kiss.

"Dad would you stop being in love for a few minutes and give me a freaking bath." Bear yelled from the bathroom frustrated.

"Yes hang on." Vinnie answered her, standing up.

"I've got Kaiser. He got a bottle and a sink bath before you woke up. I'll dress him." Aaliyah said, referring to the baby with only a diaper on, laying on Vinnie's bed.

"Thank you." Vinnie said, kissing her cheek softly.

Vinnie walked into the bathroom where he started a bath for Bear. He looked away as she got undressed and then helped her in. Though he would obviously have to see her without any clothes on to bathe her it was there deal that he turn away when she undressed.

"Wash my hair please." Bear demanded, clenching her eyes shut when Vinnie poured the cup of water on her hair.

"If you don't lose the attitude this morning I'm going to spank you and I really don't want to have to do that." Vinnie said, lathering her hair in shampoo.

"I don't care." Bear whispered under her breath.

"Knock it the fuck off young lady." Vinnie said, smacking her mouth, but not hard enough to hurt her.

"Don't hit me daddy." Bear splashed him.

"Well now you don't get the tablet when you get home. You'll do your homework, eat dinner, and go to bed and I'll make sure that Aaliyah and Uncle Reggie know that." Vinnie said, wiping his face with the towel.

Bear poured as he finished her bath. He got her out and let her dry herself off.

"Daddy can you wrap the towel on me?" Bear asked softly, she looked up at him and smiled hoping he'd forgive her but all she got was a displeased look.

"Go get an outfit. Don't forget panties." Vinnie instructed, watching as she went to her room to get an outfit.

A couple minutes later she came back to Vinnie's room with her outfit for school in hand a tear stained face.

"Why are you crying honey?" Vinnie asked.

"Nothing." Bear said softly as she layed her clothes on the bed.

"Tell daddy why you're crying." Vinnie said, crouching to her level.

"I'm sorry I was being mean daddy. I didn't mean to make you mad." Bear said, her crying picking back up.

"Baby it's okay, I forgive you. You can't be mean to me though. I wasn't mean to you." Vinnie said, kissing her head.

"O-Okay." She said, smiling softly as Vinnie wiped tears away.

"Come on, I'll help you get dressed." Vinnie said, holding her panties out so she could step into them.

After getting dressed, and struggling to get her blue jeans on passed her hips, Bear went to downstairs where she smelled melting chocolate and saw her favorite person in the world, Uncle Reggie.

"Uncle Reg!" Bear yelled, jumping in his arms.

"Stinky!" Reggie said back with just as much enthusiasm.

She smiled at the nickname he'd given her at birth and kissed his cheek.

"Missed you." Bear mumbled into his shoulder.

"Missed you beautiful." Reggie answered.

The two of them screwed around together while Aaliyah made pancakes. Her cooking for everyone caught Vinnie off guard when he came downstairs.

"You didn't have to do this." Vinnie said, placing his hands on her hips and pressing his front against her backside.

"I wanted too." Aaliyah responded, smiling when she felt his plump lips pressing several kisses on her cheek.

"Thank you pretty girl, or should I say woman?" Vinnie asked, making the woman in his grasp chuckle and blush.
