You swung around, whirling your sword. It was the day you finally managed to match Childe's attacks.

"Impressive, comrade. You've improved." The red-haired male said.

"Well, improvement's the only reason I come every week to see you." Your eyes caught up with his movements as you dodged a few attacks from his dual daggers. A grunt escaped your lips as you had to shield yourself from one of his stronger blows with your sword.

"You wound me. That, and no other reason?"

From this distance, you could see that there was a small smirk on his face, and a cut on his cheekbone with a small trail of blood running down his cheek.

You couldn't help but let your eyes roam over his features.

He looked devilish, and really really enticing. His ruffled red hair that you've always wanted to run your fingers through, his ocean blue eyes that captivated you the first time you saw them, and his slim yet muscular build you somehow find yourself admiring from time to time. His flirtatious, dangerous nature lured you in more than you'd liked to admit as well.

You've always found him attractive but you were always on opposite sides of battle. Those opposite you were your enemies. And principally, finding yourself attracting to your enemy was something you should not be proud.

But this time though, this time.

Maybe a little payback wouldn't hurt.

"Curious today aren't we, baby boy?" You cringed a little as the nickname left your lips, but well, it was worth a try right?

Childe's eyes widened as he withdrew, quickly pulling back from you. "Baby boy?"

You steadied yourself, readjusting your stance and lifting your sword back up again. You saw his features morphed into an expression of confusion, and inwardly, you felt like your plan might work after all.

"You don't like it, sweetheart? I feel like it suits you."

"Sweetheart?" His voice turned incredulous as he repeated the nickname. "What are you even trying to do here?"

"Merely returning the favour." You shrugged as you rushed forwards.

This time, he was the one that blocked your attacks with his dual blades. In this position, you found yourself closer to him again, and you tried to press your advantage. Forcing yourself to press against his blades harder, your arms and hands shook, but unexpectedly, you did manage to press in closer to him.

Childe's eyes were wide and darted around you, as if seeing you for the first time. His mouth fell open, and you caught his bottom lip quivering slightly. "I- you-"

"What's wrong, darling? You know how to dish it, but you can't take it?" You covered your surprise with a small scoff, your gaze blatantly dropping to his lips. "You surprise me."

 "I'm not-"

"Don't even try to hide it, nor run away from it. You've wanted this. I'm just giving it to you."

His bottom lip somehow quivered even more, and you had the feeling that he was getting really distracted. His breathing was heavy, and the heave and fall of his chest grew faster. A blush had formed on his cheeks, and his ears were red. You had never seen him this way before, not even in a close, energy exerting fight.

 "By calling me names?"

"No, baby boy. I'm returning your interest. I'm showing how I feel about you." You say, trying to push the situation to your advantage.

Maybe winning like this wouldn't be so bad, despite being unchivalrous. Watching Childe being like this, shy, flustered, both satisfied you and somehow, turned you on.

"You have had no idea how much I wanted to run my hands in your hair, to tug at it; so I could place kisses down your neck. Down and downwards to your collarbone... Your chest..." Intentionally, you let your breathlessness show through your voice, making it sultry and softer.

A soft whimper escaped Childe's lips, a sound that somehow surprised you and him both. His eyes widened as he immediately tried to pull away, but with one final burst of energy, you pushed him backwards.

Somehow, you heard his soft gasp before he hit the ground, his blades by his sides, and you landed on top on him, your sword thrown to the side on instinct since you didn't want to hurt him. His chest was solid underneath you, and rose and fell as you laid on top of him for a few seconds, your brain still taking in everything.

"You're pressed up against me." Childe's voice came first as you looked down at him. He was still breathing heavily, and your eyes fixated on his Adam's apple as it bobbed when he swallowed. Sweat glistened on his neck. At your intense gaze, he turned away, lifting a hand to cover his mouth.

"And what are you going to do about it?" His face whipped back at your words, the surprise evidently etched on his features.

"What?"

"Nothing." You got up, making sure to trail your hands over his bare skin more than necessary. A soft shudder went over him at that.

"Seems like I win this week." You kept your voice nonchalant as you finally stood up in front of him, looking down as he was still sprawled on the ground.

"We'll see each other again next week." You winked at him as you turned around, ecstasy and giddiness overwhelming you at both your victory and at how flustered you managed to make him.

These fights are somehow getting more interesting, and you find yourself already looking forwards to next week as you step out the golden house, the doors shutting behind you.
