No Moon

This poem is about a child looking up to a moonless sky at night.

Moon moon,

Oh, moon where are you?

You're not in the sky.

Stars are brighter,

The misty blue sky is darker,

Without your light.

Are you hiding,

Behind the clouds?

Or are you not coming tonight,

To say goodnight to the world,

The sun is always there,

To say good morning.

Why aren't you?

I know you will come back,

To say goodnight.

So, I'll wait here for you.

Everyone will be waiting,

For you too.
