(AN: Hey it's Grey, just a heads up, when the text is italicized it means that's what Max is thinking)

*Sunday - 2:06 AM*

It was a rainy night. I was lying in my bed thinking about death. 'What would death feel like?' The thought replayed itself in my head. I constantly get insults from my family and schoolmates that are exhausting and hurt like hell. Everyday, I feel so tired and it's like I don't have any energy left in me. My chest hurts so much because of my thoughts that I just started crying. And without noticing, I fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

*Monday - 8:45 AM*

The next day was a school day. I woke up at 6am and did my morning routine. I got on the school bus and went to school. Our first class was Math and on that day we were getting our results from last weeks examinations. Sir Mark was calling our names one by one and handing us our papers.

"Elijah!"
"Evan!"
"Joshua!"
"Ken!"
"Belle!"

"Max..." our teachers quiet tone made the whole class go quiet. "You have the lowest score in the class. Do you have anything to say for yourself?" He asked me sounding almost triumphant.

"I'm sorry sir it's just that I didn't have much time to review for the test." I replied to him as I stood up from my seat to get my paper from him. "Well, I'm sure I reminded you all a week prior to the test. Didn't I class?" He said, talking to me and the class.

"Yes sir." The class chorused while looking at me.

'Well I'm sorry it's not my fault I have to deal with my hell of a family.' I thought to myself. "Sorry." I replied to him and went back to my seat feeling awkward and uncomfortable that everyone was staring at me as if I had just committed a highly offensive crime.

After the class ended, it was recess time. Everyone kept on bumping my shoulders "by accident" as if they couldn't see me. At the cafeteria, I couldn't really eat anything because I lost my appetite from the events in the Math class.

"Hey dickhead, got money?" Alex called out to me. 'God, just the sound of his voice can already make you shudder so hard you bones will crack.' I clutched my bag tighter as they came closer to me. He smirked at me and forcefully took my bag from me passing it to each other until it got to Andrew who emptied its contents on the floor.

I watched my books and notepads drop out of it along with some coins that made a heavy clang sound as they hit the floor. He then threw my bag onto the pile of things and started laughing hysterically.

"You're already worthless but today you don't have money either. Just get outta here, this is our table. I don't want your filthy ass dirtying it up, we're gonna eat here for fucks sake." He said to me while laughing with his group.

At this point I just had it. I stood up, looked him straight in the eye and said, "What are you gonna do about it, huh? What do you care about what I do? Just go off with your friends to bully a helpless girl or something. That's the only thing you're good at anyway."

He obviously looked offended by what I said and his ears started glowing red but being the stubborn bitch he is, he pushed me to the ground and he and his gang started kicking me everywhere when I could do nothing but try to protect myself. The lunch lady soon stopped them and helped me to the clinic.

By the end of the school day, I caught my friends talking behind my back. I eavesdropped on their conversation and I almost cried on the spot because of what they said.
